Mubukwanu Says The Diplorable State Of Solwezi – Chingola Road Should Not Be Blamed On PF
North Western Province Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu says the Solwezi Chingola road has become a highly politicized matter as if it is the Patriotic Front government that caused the road to be in a deplorable state.
Mr. Mubukwanu has told Qfm in an interview that succesful governments have turned a blind eye to the road citing that it is only now that the PF government has decided to pay full attention to the road.
Mr. Mubukwanu notes that government has thus decided to engage the services of a third contractor with the view of speeding up the construction works on the road.
He adds that President Micheal Sata has also taken personal interest in the road and wants to ensure that the road is done to the best of standards and without further delays.
Mr. Mubukwanu explains that now that the rain season has gone, the works have resumed citing that he is hopeful that the contractors will put up a good job.
He further states that once the road is completed, they believe that the number of road traffic accidents that are currently happening on the road will be reduced and that transportation will be faster.

Is the university in Nalolo now in Muchinga, what about Lewanika University is it in Mpika, what about another university in Katete, another one in Mansa are all these in Muching PROVINCE? STOP THE Madness.

i have been on the road myself and i kno its bad bt u re always subjective. u shud try to be level headed atleast for once. if i knew u in person, i wud show u the contribution of the mines to the national treasury in figures and u wud see that its marginal. the problem is that u like talking about matters u dnt understand.

PF have been it office for 2 years 10 months. Too damned right its there fault. Everything that did not happen after 90 days IS the PFs fault.

True Jamakundi, though I may have not been on that road (in your mind) it still was going to be irresponsible for PF to take up every IMPORTANT road in the nation at once. Albeit, the first phase is not yet past, could we not wait & see which the next priority will be?

Ulabeja ebo jamakundi. The Chingola-Kt road was too small, thus, offloading more traffic on it by building your ‘interest’ road may have meant losing that same ‘revenue’ through accidents (more catastrophic). Thus, the need to prep-up the existing one. Try driving on the Cn-Ktk road between 17 & 20 hrs.
