The government says it has run out of lands to allocate to people wanting to acquire land in Lusaka Province. In an interview ,lands minister Kapeya urged Zambians wanting land to settle for other district to avoid inconveniences.
Kapeya warned Zambians to avoid buying lands from unscrupulous individuals as all the land in Lusaka province has been taken .
“Lusaka has run out of land and I want to inform Zambians wanting land in Lusaka to just target other areas if they want to safeguard their property.I also want to warn them to avoid conmen who would take advantage of their desperation for lands by selling them titled land meant for other people;they will just swindle them of their money which they struggled to find,”he said
And Kapeya further warned that the government would soon move in to demolish all structures in the country that were built illegally, including those that did not have proper documentation such as title deeds.
