Mulenga Sata Likely To Go Unopposed As LGAZ President

Lusaka Mayor Mulenga Sata has u-turned on his earlier announcement not to contest as President of the Local Government Association of Zambia.

He claims his earlier statement was issued in a hurry before he could critically think about it.

Meanwhile, some aspiring candidates Ndola Mayor Samuel Munthali and the Association’s current President Danniel Chisenga say they are not intimidated by the fact that Mulenga carries a BIG NAME that may lure PF members to vote for him.Kindly note that all comments will be reviewed for appropriate content. Never heard of this LGAZ. As long as there’s gabbage/litter in the streets of LSK, this organization is as irrelevant as other useless bodies like UTH, parliament etc.

There’s no need for elections if someone is always unopposed. It’s better to just appoint them.
