Mweetwa:Not Everyone In PF Is Free Of Corruption

Inonge Wina should not paint everyone in the PF as corruption free ,says APNAC President Cornelius Mweetwa.
Reacting to a statement by Wina that PF members do not dip their fingers in government coffers because the party is not corrupt.Mweetwa said Wina should accept that the PF was not corrupt-free.”corruption is a crime committed by individuals and not a group,”Mweetwa said in an interview.so to create an impression as though everything is perfect is what we are condemning.
Mweetwa said Wina, the PF national chairperson and gender Minister, should instead be part of efforts exhibited by some top leaders like President Sata and secretary general Wynter Kabimba to rid the ruling party of graft.
He said the fight against corruption should be inclusive.”Zambia now need leaders who would be candid and state the situation as it is so that wrongs can be identified with view of perfect system for better public funds Management,”said Mweetwa

Well said, but I was of the view that he would also come out into the open and clear the previous allegations that were levelled against him? So should we take it that he actually said those things? If that is the case then Mweetwa is a double edged sword, a Judas Escaliot that should not be trusted by UPND.

I think madam Inonge Wina has forgotten what Winter Kabimba said about the corruption in PF.Kabimba said this when he was under seige from his PF cadres who rose against him so that he leaves the pf.Kabimba said Pf has corrupt elements. Now who is telling the truth between the Party chairperson Inonge Wina and her Party’s Secretary General Winter Kabimba? So she is saying that what Kabimba is a LIE.

I meant to say “So what Winter Kabimba told us is a lie–to say that there are some corrupt elements in PF”

@Judas, they are all liars and they are corrupt including Winter Kabimba…they only talk about corruption when it suits them or when they are frustrated….Kabimba talked about the corruption in PF when he was under pressure and thought he was going to be removed from the party. If you ask him about what he said today the 19th of June 2014, he will swear that he never said it or he will justify his statement….These politicians always play us…when they want our votes, they will humble themselves and say things that they know we want to hear…immediately they come into power, they do the exact opposite and even lock you up for reminding them about their promises….that is why we need a constitution that can limit the power of the president and his ministers to avoid being played. Up until the constitution is changed to limit the powers of our “leaders”, there is no guarantee that even the next president will play us the same way.
