PF Should Rid Itself Of Cadres Engaging In Criminality-Siabutuba

Youth Development Organisation executive director Partner Siabutuba says the PF should rid itself of cadres engaging in criminality.
Siabutuba said PF supporters were taking over the illegalities committed by the MMD by engaging in criminality.
He said if left unchecked, the conduct of cadres invading and demarcating private land would tarnish the name of the party.
“The PF seem to have lost the objective with which they assumed power; it seems people go to join PF to reward each other, share plots at the expense of the party delivering development,” Siabutuba said.
Siabutuba said the PF should get back to its origin of being a party for the poor people and serve them effectively.
“It’s a timely warning to the PF and leaders at national level that if they allow supporters in their party that don’t want to deliver development, they are going to have corrupt and immoral supporters. They will find it difficult to get back to Zambians and ask for the extension of their mandate,” he said.
Siabutuba said with the development they had embarked on, it shouldn’t be difficult for the PF to seek another term in office.
He said the ruling party should not be struggling to justify why they should be voted for.
“The PF should rid itself of bad seeds; they should rid themselves of supporters engaging in criminality to preserve the party. It is clear that there are leaders in the PF that are promoting this anarchy so that they remain popular at the expense of development.
Development is slow because there is a group of people in PF that is sustaining violent cadres. Wynter Kabimba is the chief executive of the party and he knows very well that there are people that have teamed up to do and sustain wrongdoing. He (Kabimba) should not be apologetic for the clean up in the party; if he allows them, they will destroy the party and they will have themselves to blame,” Siabutuba said.

He said it was immoral and unpatriotic for people to join a political party only to make money.
