Wife Killed Over WhatsApp Text Message
A Zimbabwean woman died when her husband poured five litres of battery acid on her after a fight over a WhatsApp text message.
The woman, Tendai Kure was said to have searched her husband’s trousers’ pockets and then read his WhatsApp messages while he was bathing and discovered that he was cheating on her with a number of women.
The two engaged in a fierce fight and the husband allegedly took a five-litre container with battery acid and poured it all over Kure’s body.
Kure screamed for help and neighbours came to her rescue and rushed her to near Hospital where she was admitted at the intensive care unit with severe burns.
Kure was discharged from hospital on June 13, but died the following morning at her parents’ homestead in Mazvihwa.
Police said the husband fled after the offence and is still at large.

For sure he is a fool. He was cheating on her and instead of just apologizing and humbling himself, he went on to pour acid on his wife sure….
