Man Gets 15 Years For Sex With Chicken
A 27 year old man of Chisamba who had sex with a chicken has been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment with hard labour by a Kabwe High Court.
Kabwe High Court judge-in-charge, Mwiinde Siavwapa sentenced Goliath Nyirenda, a general worker to 15 years imprisonment for having canal knowledge of a chicken.
Nyirenda on November 18, 2012 had sex with his neighbour’s chicken which shortly died after the act.
In Sentencing Nyirenda, Mr Justice Siavwapa said it was inhuman to have sex with a chicken and that the act was bordering on abnormality.
“I find your conduct disgusting and inhuman. It is unacceptable for a person in their right frame of mind to have sex with a chicken, so I therefore sentence you to 15 years imprisonment with hard labour,” Mr Justice Siavwapa said.
In another matter, Mr Siavwapa has sentenced Anthony Musoka, a self -proclaimed prophet of Kabwe, to 25 years imprisonment after he was convicted of rape.
Particulars of the offence are that Musoka on March 14, 2013 in Kabwe, whilst praying for a housewife raped her in the process.
Mr Justice Siavwapa said it was unfortunate that Musoka masqueraded as a prophet and duped an innocent woman who was vulnerable and violated her rights.
He said it was unlawful to have sex with a woman without her consent and that the court would not take the offence lightly hence he was sending Musoka to jail for a period of 25 years.
Earlier during trial, the woman told the court that on March 14, 2013 she travelLed to Kasavasa area to meet Musoka for personal prayers as she was experiencing prolonged menstrual cycles.
She said when she got there, Musoka made her to kneel down while holding a chicken and later poured blood with water on her and started praying for her.
It was at that point that Musoka pinned her to the ground and raped her.

25 yrs isnt enuf we need to consult the Human rights commission or sorry i mean the chickens rights commission “CRC” den dey tel us the chickens age then probably the sentence wil go upto 50yrs

Some of these cases need to be referred to mental institutions for psychological analysis as opposed to just jailing.

Honestly i see no reason y someone can be sentenced 15 years in prisonment with hard labor just to have sex with a chicken, if the judge can say its abnormal and it has to to with the mental healthy of a person then i see the mental institution to be the final say than jailing someone for 15 years, thats y in zambia there’s need to adopt community services to same cases e.g a grade 11 pupil stealing K100 ati 5years imprisonment its not fair even even though we are not supporting the crimes these pipo commit but its more inhuman to jail someone for that long just for the said case. God be with us!!!!!!

This is a chicken we are talking about. People kill chicken, how many years do they get? Just jail him for 3 months, that would be enough to stop him from having sex with another chicken.
