Pule:I Will Transform The Title Of Paramount Chief To Kings
Christian Democratic Party president Daniel Pule says he will transform the title of paramount chief to kings when he forms government in 2016.
And Pule says the CDP will concentrate on mobilising itself and not join any political alliance for fear of being swallowed up.
In an interview, Pule, who was in Eastern Province to woo support and to form party structures, said the title of paramount chief was demeaning.
He said when his party assumes office, he would call paramount chiefs in the country kings as a sign of respect.
“We shall do away with the title of paramount chiefs, we shall transform the title to kings like in other African countries and we are not going to have problems in recognising chiefs,” Pule said.
He said his party was not going to interfere with traditional authorities in the country and would respect decisions by royal families on chieftainship inheritance.
Pule disclosed that the government had no powers to choose chiefs as doing so was disregarding traditional and cultural values.
He explained that chiefs in the country were important partners in development who needed to be respected, as they were consultants of government on national issues.
“We are not going to behave like PF government to interfere with traditional matters. I was one of the people who campaigned heavily for PF and President Michael Sata because I felt their policies were good for the country, but they have failed to deliver and that’s why I decided to form a Christian political party which has future for all Zambians,” Pule said.
And Pule said he would not join any political alliance as alliances in Zambia had failed to work out in the past due to leaders’ greed.
He explained that CDP would concentrate on mobilising itself by establishing structures to make it strong.
Pule also said that the public Order Act was a source of concern for his party as it was a colonial system of oppression and that his party would do away with it.
Pule said the public order Act had been used to work against people’s freedom of speech and association.

Democracy is really crazy,even ba Daniel Pule sure balefwaya bu President?I wonder where Mrs Janet Pule and Mrs Mulenga Pule are to tell us how this man loves women.He went to marry Tamara Muhone(good singer I must say) who was an old sister in the Lord at Maranatha Assemblies of God Church-Tamara then refused to marry Dan and married Mwape(the late) who worked for BP in Kitwe.Wonders may never end.Anyway,God is judge.

If the marriage life for Pastor Pule is to be taken seriously,the man would have taken a back seat for the time being.But knowing Pule,he can do that.Ask the pipo who know him,who were with him at Hilcrest Technical Secondary School,like Bishop Joshua Banda of Northmead Assemnlies Church.Pule finds it very difficult to submit to others.He wants to be leader all the time.

@Bo Moonde-I agree with you.Rev.Pule has convinced a lot of Zambians as the one who brought in TBN.Ask Mr Lintini of Lusaka,he is the man who should have been in the forefront-he invited Dr Paul Crouch to Zambia when he was Leader of the Businessmen Fellowship-Zambia Chapter.The meeting was held at Inter Continental Hotel and I was there.I remember also Dr Nevers Mumba attended.Pule hijacked when he was Deputy Minister in the Min of Information in FTJ’s Govt.It was easier for TBN America to get Licence then.That’s why TBN now is in a mess,he had no Vision for it.

1. Pule has no credibility as an individual. He’ll tell whatever lie to get into peoples pockets or get votes
2. A king needs a kingdom, A kingdom requires subjects that pay tribute. How many Zambian pay tribute to the chief on our NRC? None!
3. Titles mean squat to Pule and Pastors/ clerics. The fellow calls himself an “Apostle” for crying our loud! Just short of calling himself “vice God!”
4. Only a clown would waste their vote on Dan Pule.

Ba Pule-10 years as Deputy Minister in the FTJ Government,why?Others like Eric Silwamba who joined later as D/Minister in no time became Full Minister.
