Man Kills Baby,Stabs Wife On Private Parts With Screw Driver
An 18 year old woman of Lusaka’s 10 miles area is nursing serious wounds at the University Teaching Hospital(UTH) after her husband who first killed her 7 months old baby later pocked her private part using a screw driver and an umbrella.
According to sources within the police,Friday Tembo was found on the scene bleeding heavily.
“When we rushed to the scene,we found the baby lying on the floor dead and she(Tembo) was bleeding heavily.She was then rushed to the police station where she disclosed that it was her husband who killed the baby using an umbrella and also pocked her vagina using a sharp screw driver and an umbrella,”they said.
Police sources said after giving a statement at the police station,Tembo became unconscious and was Immediately rushed to the hospital.
And in an interview yesterday,UTH public relation Manager confirmed that Tembo was still admitted to UTH’s Intensive care unit.
“she is still admitted to our main ICU.She was brought here,(UTH) in an unconscious state but now even though she is still on oxygen,she is responding to treatment.She underwent some operation to repair what was damaged and is now under observation,”Mulenga said
Meanwhile ,when contacted for a comment,Police spokesperson Charity Munganga said her office was still trying to get the details from the police station which was handling the matter .

Someone bleeding heavily to the extent of being unconscious is taken to the police? We should change this ****** requirement. Attend to aperson first and do the police report later or alternatively have police at hospitals to attend to such cases

Any civilised society will first do anything possible to save life before taking the so called statement! In some cases, any second lost could lead to loss of life!! If this is some old law sleeping in the constitution, law makers please wake up and change this inhuman law.

It makes a sad reading indeed. I pray that this woman recovers fully. The culprit must be brought to book. He also needs prayers. And Lorna’s concern of police offices’ at medical centers is indeed food for thought.

As zambians we need to chance on this one coz there is no medicine at police station. Them they only learn when to slap,who to slap,where to slap,why slap and how to slap .So nurses it’s not human to send a casualty to police before giving them first Aid.

He is not a lunatic he just lost his temper and didn’t think about the consequences…..guys these women you see can do really crazy things…just imagine a wife having a baby from another man just imagine…and what could you do if you found out…and you lost your temper…just think about it..am not trying to justify the guy’s actions but am just saying it’s so painful. Women, will lie to your face and often times,their love for us is built on lies,lies,lies!!!!!!
