Chisulo:It Is Not Easy For A Leadership I Insulted To Bring Me Back

It is not easy for a leadership I insulted to bring me back, says Patriotic Front Ndola district chairman George Chisulo.
Six months ago, the PF top leadership suspended Chisulo for inciting Ndola PF members to protest against party secretary general Wynter Kabimba.
During a press briefing on Thursday, Chisulo said he was humbled that the party leadership had forgiven him and reinstated him to his position.
“It is not easy for a leadership that I insulted to bring me back. I am humbled by what the party leadership has done. I am grateful to President Michael Sata, the Vice-President Guy Scott and my secretary general Wynter Kabimba and the entire top leadership for lifting my suspension. I promise to pay my allegiance to the party,” he said.
Chisulo said he was sorry for demonstrating against Kabimba but said that he was misled and would never insult the party leadership.
“I cannot believe that the secretary general that I spoke ill of has pardoned me. Mr Wynter Kabimba is a good man and what he has done demonstrates is true leadership. I just want to say that I am sorry; I will never do it again. I was misled and in the end I also misled other party members. I give my life to the party,” he said.
Chisulo pledged to organise Ndola district and make sure that all party members were working hard.
He promised to be loyal to the party and to defend it against political enemies whose aim was to bring it down.
“My suspension has taught me a lot and the experience that I had is what I want to share with my party members. I have learnt that loyalty pays. The party secretary general is Wynter Kabimba and President Sata knows why he put him in that position. If he (Kabimba) was not the right person for that position, then President Sata would have put someone else. Mr Kabimba is a good leader and all party members, especially in Ndola, should love and embrace him. He is a true leader,” he said.
And Ndola district youth secretary Jones Kalyati said all PF youths in Ndola love PF and were going to defend the party from its enemies at all costs.
“We are grateful that the party leadership has lifted Mr Chisulo’s suspension. This shows how our father Wynter Kabimba loves us. We are happy that our head (Chisulo) is back. We promise the party to work hard and make sure that no opposition penetrates Ndola. No home can function well without its head. The coming back of Mr Chisulo is great and the party will be on its toes to work extra hard,” he said.
Meanwhile, district chairlady Alice Kafula said the lifting of Chisulo’s suspension demonstrated the impartial leadership that PF had.
“As a mother and leader, I am humbled at the love that the secretary general has shown to Mr Chisulo. Indeed, Mr Kabimba is a man of wisdom. We are grateful to the top party leadership for lifting Mr Chisulo’s suspension. We have great leaders who love the party and has embraced all party members regardless of their status in society,” said Kafula.
