Police yesterday in Kitwe rescued two suspected criminals from being burnt to Death by some irate Copperbelt University students.
It was after the students caught the duo allegedly stealing laptops within the institution.
This action by the police to take over the case annoyed the students leading them to stage a protest blocking Jambo drive with logs and stones.

Why rescuing them? Once a criminal always a criminal. Those ciminals can not stop. the students should have been left to do their work

The is no such thing as “can not”, it’s “cannot” or simply “can’t”.

@Umupandapwiti
Both ‘cannot’ and ‘can not’ are acceptable. There is such a thing as ‘can not’ and it is not too late for you to learn.
-You can use ‘can not’ for emphasis
-You can also use ‘can not’ to describe not being able to do something only
