Police In Central Province Looking For 3 Murder Suspects

Police in Serenje District in Central Province are looking for three people for allegedly murdering a 17 year old woman of Masunga area in the district.
Central Province Police Chief Standwell Lungu has confirmed the development to QFM News in a telephone interview.

Mr. Lungu says the Police are looking for the trio only identified as Bonnie Balo, Lengi and Elinah of Love village in Masunga area, in Senior Chief Machina’s area for allegedly murdering Zyeni Mwanza last week on Saturday.

Mr. Lungu says the incident happened on 6thJuly, 2014 around 16:00hours when the three who have reportedly fled to the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) beat up the deceased after accusing her of having an affair with Balo.

The body of the deceased who died on 11thJuly is still lying in Serenje District mortuary awaiting postmortem.
