Govt Advised to Make Peace With Chitimukulu

Open Society Foundation (OSF) has expressed disappointment at revelations that Government spent close to five hundred thousand Kwacha (K500, 000) on Police officers deployed around the Chief Chitimukulu palace to prevent Henry Kanyanta Sosala from moving into the palace.
OSF Executive Director, Sunday Chanda has lamented that such a colossal sum of money was spent to allegedly fight one person who has been deprived of his right to ascend to the Chitimukulu throne.

Mr. Chanda says the lack of drugs and beddings at Kasama General Hospital could have been eased greatly had government channeled the money towards addressing such a challenges.

Mr. Chanda says Government should now be working towards harmonizing its relations with royal establishments across the country including resolving its stand-off with the Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE) and the Bemba Royal Council (BRC).

He has since called on the PF Government to make peace with the Chitimukulu and apologize to the Bemba-speaking people now and not during election campaigns.

I expected the headline to be Chitimukulu advised to make peace with government, because this individual is not much superior than all the people that government stands for.If you can advise govt to neel down to Chitimukulu, then what about his bemba subjects? Is he not going to be as higher as Jehovah to them.

Iwe ka Sunday, govt has no standoff with the BRE but with one Sinyinda Wainyafye. That is why the BRE kicked him out. On the other hand, with the BRC, Sata has no advisers with balls who can advise him. If abena Chikwanda & the other had some like GBM, things could have change.

& you Abdu Makaka K, Shut yo trap on things you’re ignorant about. When ‘Bashi lubemba’ speak, they speak on behalf of ALL ba Bemba’s, & they are unitary in agreement. It is govt who stand to lose out. Apparently, you seem clueless that the Bemba’s are behind BRC or you wish to feast on the standoff!

THIS SITUATION WILL HAUNT THE PF WILL THEY LEAVE POWER IN 2016. I AM AN OFFICIAL IN THE PARTY AND FROM THE ROYAL FAMILY. I WILL FIGHT THE PARTY FROM WITHIN AND NOT OUTSIDE. BEMBAS ARE KNOWN FOR THEIR STRATEGIES WHEN IT COMES TO HANDLING STUBBORN POLITICAL PARTIES. MY PARTY MUST NOT THINK WE ARE DOCILE, WE KNOW HOW TO KILL A SNAKE, WE START WITH THE HEAD. WAIT AND SEE, GBM IS THE OUR HERO AS THINGS STAND RIGHT.

EASTERNERS WILL AGREE WITH ME THAT WE ARE SERIOUS PEOPLE WHO APPRECIATE PEACE. ZAMBIANS, WE KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE PF. LET ME JUST REMIND YOU YOU ON ONE THING, have you heard of any Bemba minister issue any statement in support of Sata in this regard. It can only be people like Simunsa, scort and lua who can say anything, but of cause without action. Even the Police that have so far enjoyed the 500,000 do not know what to say and do. Chitimukulu for life.
