Roma Girls Teacher’s Children Miss Mock Exams
Two children of a Roma Girls Secondary School Teacher who recently battered the acting school Head teacher have missed their mock examinations as their examination identity cards are still locked in the house.
On Saturday, July 19, 2014 Mr Daswell Sichilongo beat up Emma Chakupaleza, a Catholic Nun for locking the house he has been occupying for failure to settle a One Thousand, Five Hundred Kwacha rentals.
Mr. Sichilongo who handed himself in the hands of the police, has since been formally arrested and charged with assault and will appear in court on Wednesday, July 23, 2014

The teacher was pushed too far by the nun. You see this man was not being paid for two months as his name appeared under the list of ghost workers. He was supposed to be paid the following Monday and it was wrong for the catholic nun to lock his house. After all he had already shown commitment by paying a K500 earlier. It was wrong for the nun to tell the teacher to get out of her office when he was pleading with her to unlock his house and now why are these nuns punishing the innocent children. What kind of Christianity is this? First they subject the family to being locked and now they want to deny them education which their father has already set a foundation No!!! Even teachers Unions why should they just watch and see this kind of things? Cant they speak out for the teacher? If he was insulted, then he had the right to protect himself. And why treat a fellow Zambian and fellow teacher like that?

Sad for Mr. Sichilongo. Really it was not his fault to fail to settle the rentals. The nun knows for sure what has happened to some teachers who have not been paid yet by the Min. of Ed. Money is hard to get at times. many of us depend on our monthly salaries. The Nun was not fair.

If the narration of “kepusha” is really what trnspired then the nun should be fired from sisterhood. What heart does this nun have? A stone heart? How can a nun be so callous?

The nun should have allowed dialogue, but she even refused it even when mr sichilongo went to see her. What did the tenant property and children got to do with the rentals? She should have taken up the case to the court for eviction notice, so the man was pushed too far. The action has no place in our civilised society.

Also before you comment or pass judgment, it is wise to understand what exactly transpired and the circumstance that led to the teacher acting in the manner he did.

Fr bwalya shud say something becoz the children cannot pay for their fathers sins that is why catholic its just an organization or commercial entity-2 wrongs do not make a right-Christianity apa tapali.that is why ba nun babi imitima i have never seen a nun who is good since i was born.they pretent to care for the less privileged but wat hey get out of it is more as compared to wat they offer to these communities.

For sure a nun representing the existence of Godly people why not for once give Mr. Sichilongo chance and if not paid where was he suppose to get rental from? Which God do you save who doesn’t have mercy? you the so called nun must understand that you contributed more to this and if anything nun forgiving and apologizing is holy, already other people are suffering for lucky of patience by you nun, children can now not write exams does this make you happy even though you are a childless prostitute?

These so called nuns are so rude they think they carry God in those robes yet are just some of the worst humans you dint want to come across. How can a woman of God rock the house throwing children outside, no wonder they abort pretending not be having sex. Let them get children and feel the pain of bringing up children. They think a teacher would get money from heaven when government hasn’t paid him. Even me can dwarf her up. ZCTU & teachers union should stand up not just be interested in getting contributions yet are we are being treated like second class citizens. Ba Guza I feel pity for u since u look not objective and meant to insult people not deal with the matter at hand. I wonder whether u watched the footage closely. If you did, u would seriously not demonise everyone especially the poor nun. You seem to habber vengence against the religious a thing that has clouded your thinking. I pray that you help develop others see things as they are. Above all I did noT support what the nun did but I questioned whether the approach the teacher took was the best way to resolve the problem. Is violence the best way to solving problems?
