Church Shut Because Of Indecent Assault And Sexual Abuse Scandals
Holy Fire Christian Ministries Church has been deregistered following allegations of indecent assault and sexual abuse scandals that rocked the church.
Registrar of Societies Kakoma Kanganja has shut down the church based in Bulangililo, Kitwe, to stop any further abuses and disturbances to the public.
He, however, told the Sunday Mail that the presiding bishop of the church, Dominic Nyundu, last week resurfaced after going into hiding in 2010
Mr Kanganja, who was in Kitwe, said bishop Nyundu was allegedly embroiled in the sex scams between 2010 and 2013 when he was reported to be abusing women by taking them for overnight prayer meetings where he would have sex with them in the name of exorcising demons.
He said that one of the women declined the bishop’s strange way of praying and exposed him.
Mr Kanganja said following the exposure, there was uproar from the public, who burnt the church sending bishop Nyundu into hiding in Angola while his members regrouped and started meeting without him.
But last week, Mr Kanganja said bishop Nyundu resurfaced wanting to carry on with the church from where he left off after going into hiding in 2010.
The members, however, reported him to the police who arrested him.
“I spoke with the bishop who complained that the people want to grab his church. He is now in police custody anyway,” he said.
Mr Kanganja said following the arrest of the bishop and reports of alleged indecent assault and sexual abuse levelled against him, he would like to send a stern warning to all clergymen in Zambia not to abuse the declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation by engaging in unbiblical activities.
He has called on the Church mother bodies to quickly conclude the formation of the self-regulatory framework as this will help bring sanity to the Church.

From cheated women,pastors get money,sex,destroy families and marriages because women reach an extent whereby attention to the pastor gets out of hand and marriage commitments suffer and peace disappeaars in a home.As long as it is something to do with the Pstor,the woman will go running.
