The family of the baby who went missing at the university teaching hospital UTH has given police a one week ultimatum to avail them with a report failure to which they will take the matter to court.
Kamona Chinyama, father of the baby has complained of alleged police reluctance in the matter. Mr. Chinyama laments that since investigations were launched on June 17 2014 the family has been tortured with police’s silence.
In a telephone interview police service spokesperson Charity Munganga Chanda says the investigations are still going on.
On June 8, Bertha Kamona, gave birth to a premature baby girl and four days later she was told her baby had died and was asked go home and come the following day with her family to bury the baby. But the baby went missing before it could be buried.

UTH staff will never stop suprising me !!!!!! How do you fail to account for the dead bodies???? I think the kitchen must be searched due to economical hardships you cook human meat for patients ma stories kupaka………. no the body is missing ,no they exchanged bodies,
