You Are Very Stupid- Kambwili Blasts Ethiopian Referee

Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili on Saturday physcally confromted Ethiopian referee Bamlak Weyesa minutes after Nkana beat Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel 4-3 in a CAF Confederation Cup Group B match in Kitwe.
Weyesa awarded two controversial penalties to Etoile in this seven-goal thriller at Nkana Stadium in Wusakile.
Immediately after the final whistle, Kambwili rushed on to the pitch where he accused the ref of poor officiating.

“You are very stupid, you don’t handle matches like that,” the minister told off Weyesa.

Kambwili was later whisked away from the pitch as police escorted the ref to the dressing room.

While I appreciate that the referee’s decisions were questionable,I however feel that the Minister went beyond his boundaries considering his status.His behavior was not only uncalled for but hooligalism of some sort.I do appreciate that he was infuriated just I was but he should have controlled himself.

Just because we nodded Sichilongo’s pononaling of Chakupadevil for her stupidity, doesn’t give you the right to throw your fat on the ref. In NO way are you (were you) expected to react ad a hooligan. As Hakainde says ‘Sata is vindicated when he says he has USELESS ministers!’

Me people sadly believe that being physical, confrontational and talkative then they’ll be perceived hardworking, and caring for those that they apparently speaking for. In actual fact I feel these sort of people actually reveal their buffon and backward characteristics. There is no way a person of his stature could be have in such a manner when there are structures in place to deal with such matters in an orderly manner. How we embedded up with such a government Kaya che.

@ChiKA, to hell with your toothless FIFA and CAF.
That referee deserved more than what he got.
Little wonder African teams going to World Cup come back in the group stage because they just buy their way through. They corrupt referees just like Tunisia and Egyptian clubs have been buying referees and match commissioners in all the games Nkana has played with them.
You cant condemn Kambwili if you watched the game.
