Herve Renard Appointed Ivory Coast National Team Coach

Former Chipolopolo Africa Cup winning coach Herve Renard has been appointed Ivory Coast National Team Coach on a four year deal.

The Ivory Coast Football Federation announced Renard as the successful candidate to be in charge of the team he beat in his finest moment as a coach in 2012.
Federation president Sidy Diallo says the executive committee chose a coach that had the best knowledge of Ivory Coast and African football.

The Frenchman succeeds compatriot Sabri Lamouchi, who failed to lead the talent-filled West African team past the group stage at the World Cup in Brazil.
Renard led Zambians to the African Cup of Nations title in Gabon in 2012, beating overwhelming favorite Ivory Coast in a penalty shootout in the final in Libreville.
Renard’s contract is designed to keep him in charge through to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.Kindly note that all comments will be reviewed for appropriate content.

At the end of this article, Tumfweko said that all comments will be reviewed for appropriate content but see what this f.ool named Tutu has said, does that look appropriate 2u ? Or is Tutu one of your team at Tumfweko ? As for u tutu or whatever they call u, insults do not define a good guy but someone who is very backward in thinking.

After insulting him as physical trainer in Zambia and today Renard is a big name in the world of football. Congratulations RENARD. I loved your tactics and I hope you will help the elephants to win at least SOMETHING. ITS A TEAM OF GREAT PLAYERS BUT have never won anything. I want to hear the comments from Simata Simata and his fellow sympathisers.
