GBM Donates Gratuity To The People

KASAMA Member of Parliament (MP) Geoffrey Mwamba has donated his entire mid-term gratuity to his constituency.
Mr Mwamba said from Kasama yesterday that the gratuity will be shared equally among the eight wards in Kasama Central.

He said his donation of the money is intended to spearhead development in his constituency.
“I have donated my entire gratuity to Kasama Central Constituency because that is where it rightfully belongs as people who voted for me,” Mr Mwamba said, adding that he is into politics to serve the people and remains committed to this ideal.
“As soon as I return to Lusaka, I shall write to inform the Speaker of the National Assembly to channel my gratuity to the people of Kasama Central who have made me to be what I am today,” he said.
Mr Mwamba said the constituency has the right to use the money in any way it can to enhance development.
“This is not new, even last year I gave them my gratuity, even next year I will give them,” he said.
Mr Mwamba said he will monitor the projects that will be undertaken using the money that will be given to them.
“I do not know how much this money will be but it will be a colossal sum and I will not subtract any amount,” he said.
Mr Mwamba said giving his gratuity to the constituency has no strings attached but solely for the purpose of development.
The lawmakers are expected to be paid their mid-term gratuities next month.

@ Tumfweko, GBM’s designation is ‘Kasama PF MP’, not that misleading title of ‘Kasama MP’.

Bad eggs cannot be broken in public te? They will stink even in your nose. PFwaka in real dilema here, viva GBM.
