Sports Minister Kambwili said FAZ should give local coaches salaries similar to the ones it gives to expatriates. He said the trend of paying expatriates higher salaries and allowances than locals is retrogressive. The minister said local coaches are capable of delivering results if given better conditions. Kambwili has no problem with the appointment of Janza.
“The appointment of a local coach is the way to go. It is a good decision, which has our backing. We have no problem with the appointment of Janza. It is the duty of FAZ to appoint a national team coach. Our job is just to pay his salary.
“Janza is a CAF instructor, so he is qualified to coach the national team. I can only urge FAZ to stop this trend of paying expatriate coaches more money than our local coaches. We must pay our local coaches well,” Kambwili said.

Well said hard working Hon. Minister Kambwili Chishimba, that Janza should be given same salary as an expatriate. But if he fails to get the Chipolopolo to the 2015 AFCON am afraid I will campaign to see he goes on half salary.

Do we understand why an expatriates are paid more than locals? It is because they are foreigners/non citizens and not entitled to some incentives from government which are free for citizens.

Kuti waseka! How does a local become an expatriate by pay?
FAZ must now save those millions and pay Janza a Zambian managers’ salary.

Kambwili stop interfering. In fact the appointment of Janza is a blunder. Very soon fans will discover the wrong man has been appointed. Janza has never proved himself anywhere unlike the FAZ premier league coaches whose results we can seee week in week out. No serious national team would appoint a coach like him unless they are not ambitious

Janza is not a qualified coach. This issue of picking coaches because you share a relationship with them will destroy Zambian football. We need an experienced and well qualified coach with the right motivation for the Job. He could be Zambian or an expert, doesn’t matter

I think it wil be fair enough to give caesar what belongs to caesar.Well he doesnt really deserve a so high salary like a expatriate coach, however they must not exploite him, they have to give him a good enough salary to match his position as country coach and that in turn will motivate him to even Work Wonders for us as a country!
