Police Arrest Mazabuka Head Teacher For Allegedly Defiling A Grade 7 Pupil
Police in Mazabuka have arrested a Konkola Lower Primary School head teacher for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl.
Southern Province deputy police commissioner, Milner Muyambango, confirmed the matter and named the suspect as Oliver Cheelo, who allegedly defiled the grade seven pupil on four occasions in one of the classrooms at the school.
Muyambango said the incident was concealed after Cheelo allegedly paid K2,000 to the victim’s parents for them not to report the matter to police.
“Mr Cheelo, of chief Hanjalika’s area had been allegedly defiling the girl between April and August 7 this year, so following the report regarding a concealed case of defilement that occurred at Konkola Primary School in chief Hanjalika’s area in Mazabuka, our officers from VSU followed up this report and traced the victim at the school,” he said.
He said Cheelo was arrested on Wednesday.
He said investigations had revealed that Cheelo, who was now in custody, allegedly sexually abused the girl on four occasions in one of the classrooms.
He said the victim was issued with a medical report and that she was taken to the hospital.
Mazabuka district education board secretary, Ephe Ngolwe, said it would be disgusting if the allegations were true.
She said it would be disappointing for any teacher in the country to be found abusing children instead of inculcating good morals in them.

Sad indeed. Akaice ako kalemumfwafye bwino Headteacher pakuti kalemukonkela 4 times. Parents accepted too, arrest the girl and the parents as well.

I presume this was in the evenings when there was nobody at school.
I presume the Cheelo idiot is married.
I presume the girl’s parents had prearranged this issue.
But K2pin sure? Can this even buy a calf? In short, that is a rotten society. Arrest the girl’s parents for concealing a felony!!
