Boy 16 Attempts To Rape 82 Year Old Woman
Police in Mbala have arrested a 16 year old boy of Masamba village in Sub chief Lwimbo’s area for attempting to rape an 82 year old woman of the same village.
Both Police and the Probationer Officer have confirmed the arrest of the boy to ZANIS for attempted rape on Monday last week and is currently detained in Police cells.
Particulars of the offence are that on the material day, the boy went for a drinking spree with another man to the nearby Iyanda village and on his way back home he strayed into Faides Nambeya’s house and found her asleep.
It was then that he attempted to have sexual intercourse with her but the old woman shouted for help and in her effort to rescue herself from him, she fell and bruised her leg.
The boy was then apprehended and severely beaten by the instant mob justice but was only saved by the Community Crime Prevention Unit members who took him to the Police station.
Last week a 16-year-old boy of Kapiri Mposhi was convicted for raping his 80-year-old visually impaired grandmother.
Kapiri Mposhi Magistrate Brenda Chiganda put the juvenile offender on 12-months probation at Katombora Juvenile Reformatory School.

What can attract a man to an 80 year old woman? As for me I cannot have sex with a woman unless I am really attracted to her because by nature as men are turned on with what we see. Women in most cases are turned on with what they hear. So how can one be attracted sexually to a woman with loose skin and wrinkles all over? Save for the fact that she is just like a small baby down there?

The boy was under the influence of alcohol. An 80 year old woman would look 18 if someone is drunk.

it’s not about alcohol, this boy knew what he was intending to do honestly, how can he……… with his great grandmother? kupusa bati, at only 16 yrs old? These are the same culprits raping/defiling infants and need to be put behind bars where they belong.
