‘I Admit, I Stole The Pigs’

A 29-YEAR-OLD caretaker of Kamfinsa Farm in Kitwe has pleaded guilty to stealing three pigs worth K2,500 from his employer.

Appearing before Kitwe senior resident magistrate Daniel Musonda last Friday, Christopher Kambewe admitted the charge.
“Your honour, I understand the charge and I admit, I stole the pigs because I wanted to sell and use the money as my employer had not paid me.” Kambewe said.
This is in a case in which Kambewe is charged with stock theft.
It was alleged that Kambewe on July 8, 2014 in Kitwe , together with others unknown, stole  three pigs worth  K2, 500 from  Bill Kampingu .
Mr Musonda adjourned the case to today for facts.
Meanwhile, a 27-year-old bricklayer of Kitwe’s Twatasha township has pleaded guilty to assaulting his friend.
This is in a case in which Ernest Mbale is charged with one count of assault.
When the matter came up for plea before magistrate Kampinda Chipamu on Friday, Mbale admitted the charge.
“Your honour I beat him up because he spilt my beer,” Mbale said.
Mbale on 10 August this year in Kitwe, assaulted Amadu Samba and occasioned him actual bodily harm.
Ms Chipamu adjourned the case to today for presentation of written facts.

    Ala, you are very stup.id, you are even admitting that you stole the pigs? You pig, sorry, you human being. Wamona, I would have annoyed the pigs.
