Immigration Dept Blamed For illegal Immigrants
The Independent Churches of Zambia (ICOZ) has blamed the Immigration Department for the high number of illegal immigrants in the country who have ended up infiltrating the church.
ICOZ Board Chairperson Bishop David Masupa has told QFM News that the Immigration Department’s loopholes at border crossings have allowed illegal immigrants to end the country.
Bishop Masupa says while the exercise by the ministry of Home Affairs and the Registrar of Societies to invade churches in search of illegal immigrants is commendable, the Immigration Department should go a step further by sealing loopholes at entry points.
Bishop Masupa notes that as long as officers at the border posts continue to engage in corrupt activities, the issue of illegal immigrants will always be there regardless of how many times churches and other places are raided.
He however states the raid on churches is a good move as it will help do away with illegal churches and reduce the number of people masquerading as pastors.
Bishop Masupa says the number of illegal churches in the country has continued to increase resulting in many people being cheated and misled by illegal immigrants pretending to be Men of God.

The false prophets tell you to come to Christ Jesus and you will receive anything you want, like success, business, good life and miracles. Some of these contradict the bible because they are earthly desires and not spiritual (1 John 4 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them).

They prophesy lies in God’s name, but God did not send them, command them nor speak to them. They prophesy lying vision, worthless divination and the deceit of their own minds. Jeremiah 14:14. They are all over the place and they spring up everyday like mushrooms.They claim to be “men of God,” “apostles,” “pastors,” “prophets,” “bishops,” “archbishops,” and what-nots, but they lie ! They are ordinary criminals parading as “men of God” and deceiving the gullible who do not know their Bible and have no discernment.

Theres nothing like illegal immigrants,all africans belong in africa,thus we can all live in a country we fancy to move to.Be like the western world everybody is allowed to live in whatever country as long as youre a law abiding member of society.This thing of calling eachother illegal creates hatred and division among all africans.Just document those so called illegal immigrants and be welcoming and they will surely register themselves if they are not threatened with deportation

i saw with my own too eyes how a male immigration officer with a walkie talkie in his hand at Lusaka International Airport followed a MUSLIM passenger at the “gate” and extorted money from him before the passenger was allowed to board the Emirates Airlines just recently.

Emmasdale still has a big problem with these illegal immigrants even after the clean up namely Liberians and Somalians.
Liberians dealing with the illegal black dollar business and thefts and patronizing each and every bar in this area of Emmasdale called devil street and Somalians still in the drug business Mira and kart.
Please can the immigration department visit this area again we have Zambians who are hiding these people in their homes and their bars because they paid to do this please do something.

….Not only in Emmasdale, tens of 1000′s are in Garden Compoundand and other ghettos all over the country! Most of them living with single Zambian ladies who they help to feed and pay rent!!!

Ba Bishop, how many illegal immigrants have you reported to the immigration Dept?? Or you want to lie that you have never seen one before !! Everyone is to blame, the general citizenly, registrar of societies, immigration department, the church, etc. There are so many churches and their congregants, how many of these has ever reported an illegal immigrant to the authorities. We are living with them in our locations(residentials areas) but we are all quiet. Bishop, stop being a hypocrite. The boarders not have fences like guantanamo bay. So help the Immigration officials do their job.

And these Liberians are spreading Aids and Ebola just yesterday around 15:15hrs 18 Liberians and 8 Somalis were brought in Emmasdale by a truck driver who was paid K10,000 from Congo DR.

What is an ‘illegal church’? Ba Mususu, or anyone with data, plz school me!! Probably you meant congregation? Though I feel it might also just be an unregistered entity and not illegal. Did you have Lenshina type? Plz explain.
