President Michael Sata says the Patriotic Front (PF) government acknowledges with humility, the resounding acceptance it has received from the people of Mangango following its victory in the just ended parliamentary by – election.
The Head of State says the victory in Mangango reinforces the people’s belief and optimism in the government’s policies and programmes in line with the PF manifesto.
Mr Sata says the people of Western Province have sent a clear message that they are not interested in politics of name-calling, violence and regionalism.
He since assured the people of Mangango and Zambia in general that the PF administration will intensify its sustained efforts to take development countrywide and ensure that all growth projects are implemented with immediacy.
President Sata has also expressed gratitude to the Zambian people for their continued show of confidence in his government following the nationwide local government by-elections in which the ruling Patriotic Front has scooped 18 out of the 25 ward by-elections.
He states that without a doubt, the PF has continued gaining incredible ground in Western, Central and Southern Provinces.
President Sata says the latest victories in areas like Mkushi, Kalabo and Kaoma underscores the PF’s growing recognition across the country.
The Head of State has reiterated that government remains steadfast to engaging progressive forces within the opposition in its pursuit to accomplish pro-poor measures that will culminate into fast economic growth, job creation and poverty reduction.

bitter parties are champions only on social media, what they should know is that 60% of their readers are outside of Zambia and they cant vote. so bitter parties carry on crying because we know that u are just Ugly Pussssssies Nutts and Dicccks (UPND)

That piece of information my bro is correct, more than 60% of its so called leaders are hibernating in foreign lands who are not even legible to vote. Their job is just to divide and rule which they will not mange to achieve.

Says who? You make it look like PF has been scooping all the by elections in the recent past? The rule of the game is you win some you lose some….How many times did Sata fail before he made it to State House? What makes you think other parties cannot do the same? So now that he got into State House after so many failures, you want to make it look like he is a Saviour who is indispensable? Even the many projects you are talking and showing off about were started by MMD….Ofcourse he deserves to be congratulated when he does well and condemned if things are not okey. In as much as there are positive achievements in PF, there are negative attributes. For example look at the filth in Lusaka town. Look at the poverty levels in the country due to removal of subsidies, etc. You talk as if you are talking to five year olds who cant reason based on what they are seeing.

UPND have costed themselves in Mangango. Next time they should change their approach if they are to do better. Violence is the best approach. Surely, how can you beat up the Chief and his wife. It is not only ridiculous but also humiliating to the high profiled man and his subjects.

SATA, where are you speaking from and what are you doing, I understand that truly you could do better if you were fit and health but the state in which you are is a matter of worry to most Zambians. Please Michael be a man tell us if you are not feeling well so we can give you three months to rest then come back and bang it again unlike where chella is smearing butter on us, may you recover soon presidio
