Chibombo Headman In Court After He Was Caught Committing Adultery

A Headman of Chigwiri village in Chibombo district appeared before Lusaka’s Matero Local Court after he was caught committing adultery.
Zenzo Tembo, 25, of Mungule village also of Chibombo district sued Frederick Chigwiri, 45, for adultery.
Tembo told the court that on July 20, 2014, his wife left home to attend a funeral.
“Shockingly, I found my wife, Getrude Banda, dancing and drunk at a tavern owned by my father. I hid from her so as to see what she was up to,” he said.
Tembo, a Zesco casual worker, told Senior Court Magistrates Petronella Kalyelye and Lewis Mumba that he observed Chigwiri leave the tavern. Shortly after, Tembo saw his wife following Chigwiri.
“I followed them at a distance until they got to a bush where I caught them having sex. They ran away when they saw me with Chigwiri leaving his bicycle while my wife left one of her slippers,” he said.
Tembo told the court that Chigwiri who has two wives initially dated Banda, 27, before he (Tembo) married her.
“When I first met Banda, she told me about the life she led and promised never to go back to being a prostitute,” he said
Tembo who has two children with Banda, complained to the court that Chigwiri and Banda have continued having an affair.
However, Chigwiri denied the allegation and accused Tembo of stealing his bicycle which he dismantled.
Banda also denied having an affair with Chigwiri let alone knowing him.
She said Tembo chased her from home two weeks ago after accusing her of committing adultery.
The matter was adjourned to August 26, for continued trial.

The problem with women from Chibombo and Mungule is that they do not know how to say NO when men make advances.

I saw enough comments about the Tonga woman on the other article and was almost resorting to insulting until i thought better and closed the page. I guess these are Tongas too. We need to exhibit maturity on these social platforms and desist from these derogative and backward comments. People are people regardless of tribe, creed or sex.
