HH:Zambians Should Not View All Politicians As Being The Same

Hakainde

Hakainde

United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema says Zambians should not view all politicians as being the same.

Mr. Hichilema has told Qfm News that while he appreciates the views of the majority Zambians who feel politicians are the same and always behave the same way when voted into office, this perception is not correct.

Mr. Hichilema says Zambians should base their perceptions on the backgrounds of every politician and asses them based on their current political status.

The UPND leader says he is a different breed of politician who will not renege on the promises he is making once voted into power.

Mr. Hichilema says this is because he understands the genuine cries and demands of the majority Zambian people.

He has since reaffirmed his party’s commitment to continue demanding for a people driven constitution and upliftment of the people’s living standards.

    1. Your background stinks: you got public assets & made them personal with FTJ
    2. Your background stinks: you rose to power under the “only a Tonga rubbish” & you’ve perpetuated it.
    3. Your present stinks: Mazoka’s rule (a leader who fails twice stand aside) you have desecrated by being a headstrong loser.
    So, There!!

BaRSK, understand debate plz.I am not saying Tonga is bad, but that to have used that cliché was wrong. Imagine, no matter how intelligent, popular & influential you may be, you can NEVER be UPND leader as a Chokwe as if you prove that HH is a losing fool!

You are RIGHT HH. In fact u r always right. Can u compare sata to Rb or chikwanda to kabimba? The point HH is making is that there are more trustworth politicians than others out there like HH, Chipimo, Miyanda etc. That is why we have this crisis in the coutry. Now they will kill each other in Pf; a vivid example of political hyenas.

HH is right. Politicians are different in the way we tell lies like what he is saying.

All politicians go there for themselves. Even HH wants to go there for himself not for somebody else. Let him start doing something in a small way for less priviledged people with his money then we can see the heart he has for the people. Otherwise becoming a president will not make him compassionate if he cannot prove it now by actions.

In Zimbabwe the man who owns Econet has set up a number of organisations aimed at helping people and uplifting the standard of living. Now that is the heart i am talking about.

Imwe let the man be free to express himself…what is wrong with him saying not all politicians are the same? It is true. Apart from the common denominator of stealing, politicians are different to a certain degree. For example can you compare Levy with Chiluba? NO. How can you find out if what HH is saying is the truth or a lie if he has not been given a chance to lead the people of Zambia? Just coz Sata told lies to get into power does not mean that every politician will do the same. This current Government has lied from inception; in this regard, it is understandable as to why even its followers are finding it difficult to believe that there can be politicians out there who are not like Sata (in as far as telling lies is concerned).

Mwana politicians go into power for themselves. This is the common factor. They may be different on other platforms but not on this one.

No, Trixy, let us not stop voting but just do not expect them to lift you out of poverty. It is only yourself that will do so.
