Nevers Seeking Financial Assistance From Zambians To Help MMD Remain Strong

tumfweko picMMD leader Nevers Mumba is seeking financial assistance from Zambians to help the party remain strong.

Speaking when he appeared on Prime TV programme dubbed Oxygen of Democracy, Mumba said MMD could not become extinct simply because it mismanaged itself while in power and lost elections.

Mumba assured Zambians that MMD was a party that still rested on real policies that were as valid today as they were in 1991.

“MMD is not a party that came on the scene for businesses. It is a party for ordinary people. If you want to see democracy stand, come to our offices. Make a donation because it is important that everybody feels a part of it. This is democracy. We expect their participation by ensuring MMD is strong and continues to win elections,” Mumba said

“It (MMD) cannot expire because we mismanaged ourselves and lost elections. When MMD comes back, the Zambians should be assured of the truthfulness and honesty in terms of the programmes that we were undertaking in all sectors.”

And Mumba challenged those attacking the party over its poor performance in the just ended Mangango by-elections, where it got a paltry 136 votes, to turn out and campaign for the party in the five forthcoming by-elections.

He also said he had summoned all NEC members and members of parliament to participate in the forthcoming Solwezi Central, Zambezi West, Kasenengwa, Vubwi and Mukushi South by-elections.

“We are going to put up a spirited fight, and we have communicated with all our members from the national executive committee and members of parliament that they are expected to participate fully,” Mumba said.

“We need boots on the ground in order to see the result that we want. All of us have to put boots on the ground not one person. Elections cannot be won by the president alone. If there are two people from NEC campaigning, we will probably lose that election and they will say ‘it is the president who has lost’ but where were you?”

Mumba also said that the poor result obtained in Mangango had not crashed the party.
“It is just a constituency out of 150 elections. You can even lose in 10 or 15 constituencies and still win in another. So we never get discouraged just like the PF was not discouraged when they lost Mkaika,” he said. “In Masaiti, we won, followed by PF and then FDD, followed by UPND but that does not mean the UPND president must resign because they came forth. These dynamics will be changing in different regions and times. We should just be focused.”

Pastor Nevers, please go back to the pulpit. You made a very good preacher and politics is not your potion.

Go back to the pulpit and do what? Spread more lies about an imaginary old man who sits on a cloud and watches over you or what?

Nevers is both mad and confused. How can Zambian from whom MMD stole cash through RBs corruption fund him now so that he can come and steal from them? Ba Mumba GOD is watching you. Get back to the pulpit or you will regret staying at the helm of MMD

No any contributions will ever resurrect MMD from ICU as it were. Nevers should think about doing something coz his party will never see the corridors of power again.

Now Dr Mumba wants to run MMD the way he used to run his church? Collecting money from the poor to enrich himself? Dr Mumba you are getting worse each passing day and frankly speaking I pity you. You have simply lost it!!

Mr Mumba, MMD will never, I never come back to power. It is simptly dead and buried.Just wait for 2016 to come, you will see what we have seen already. All those MMD’s and councilors who are making you think MMD is alive and strong will defect, join other party and resign. The bible talks of christian having spiritual discernment. And no right thinking Zambian can put money in MMD.You had all the money and if you think MMD is strong why should you start begging for money on the street. When people so that PF was strong and had a vision for this country, they just started putting money without Sata begging from them they way you are doing.Shame NEVERS AND MMD

Ba Mumba, you jumped on a sinking. Zambians are no longer interested in MMD. We can even fund UNIP because it is a state monument (founder party) not MMD
