Buumba Has The Right To Choose -Longwe

Longwe says there is nothing wrong with Juliet Buumba’s preference to marry a white man.
And Longwe has appealed to Buumba’s family and friends not to harass her for the bold step and decision she has taken.
Buumba, 21 recently advertised in The Post’s classifieds section, seeking to marry a white man.
“It’s for her to make a choice,” Longwe said. “She can decide what she wants to do like anything else, like if she doesn’t want to eat an apple, she wants to eat an orange.”
She added that Buumba had every right to express her freedom of choice without interference.
“If that is what she wants, then let her go for it. She is a human being like anyone,” Longwe said.
She, however, advised Buumba to base her search for a husband on love and not race.
“If she is only interested in the colour, of course that is her choice, but it might be considered as a racially kind of looking at things. But if she is in love, that is something else,” Longwe added.
She further advised Buumba to be clear and understand what she wants to avoid disappointment.
“If she is interested in just the colour and not love, she might be in a lot of shock. And she should not be stereotyping, because if she thinks white men are more caring than black husbands, let her provide statistics and show that she has done a lot of research because she might just end up being shocked,” said Longwe.
Buumba’s search for a white husband has received mixed reactions, especially on social media platforms such as Facebook, with some people supporting her while others view her disclosure as a sign of immaturity.

Well Miss.Sara Longwe, if you support such primitive inferior comments and insults to pan-africanism and black consciousness, then I doubt your mental capabilities.The english people have a common verb, “DO NOT ARGUE WITH A FOOL”. Doris, you are very dull. Miss Longwe’s advice to the girl is a very mature one. She is right to say the girl has the right to make her choice and at the same time she advised the girl not to base her choice on race. What else do you want Miss Longwe to say or give as advice to the girl?

“NOT ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD”I had the same mindset of these whites,he came on a business trip to kitwe flashing money and being so sweet,the minute we went back to europe reality set in for me and now im divorced and alone with children.Everything all of a sudden was expensive and i had to work endlessly to pay half the bills and all the abuse and heartache on top of that.

While I appreciate madam longwe coming thru for buumba maybe coz she married to a white man (the famous KALAKI), white men of yester year are very different from the current young ones , unless buumba wants anything white even a rug. Otherwise mufana ni kamushi chabe. There are indigenous black men who are very very caring and know how to treat a woman. Anyway good luck.

This is probably a matter of inferirity complex based on colour. Have you even checked that divorce statistics are more alarming with the so called whites than the the so called blacks?
