Chipolopolo Qualifiers Ordered Back To Ndola

The all too tempting fantasy of the yet to be fully completed Heroes Stadium in Lusaka being ready to host Africa Cup qualifiers matches has been given a check by Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili who has ordered that the remaining international matches for the Chipolopolo will be played in Ndola.

With the car park and access roads to the country’s 60, 000 capacity stadium FAZ and government were getting too far ahead of themselves and even forced an international match against Sudan on August 31 at Heroes Stadium but from the evidence on match it was clear that the country had to wait a little longer.

Parking was restricted to the nearby neighbourhoods of Mandevu, Matero and the Olympic Youth Development Centre while it did not help that the match was overpriced with some yawning spaces in most parts of the stadium.

Kambwili said that it was not possible to host the October, 15 home match against Niger and another against Cape Verde in November because the dressing rooms and the doping rooms were not ready.

Zambia was due to play the Group F home matches at the Heroes Stadium.

He said that hosting the games at the stadium will delay progress towards completely making the structure ready for the October, 24th Jubilee celebrations.

All the same. Whether we play at Heroes or Mwanawasa stadium, what matters most is winning games. But with Janza as coach….. I doubt if we shall make it to Morocco 2015. He uses his memory not brains when coaching the team. LET US HAVE AN EXPATRIATE COACH NOW.

We definately need a more visionary coach who has confidence in hims self. Not neccessarily an expatriate but any coach who can instill confidence on both the players and supporters. Janza does not qualify as a national coach at any level.

This selection of Janza is a reflection on the objectives of the current faz executive. No vision.

Samlindo since the departure of Mbafuchile there isn’t a Zambian coach who meets your requirements

Janza has no command and confidence in running our national team. He is tacticless without a vision. It is like Kalu is the one imposing a line up to Janza.
Infact faz was supposed to advertise the position of national coach other than hand picking Janza for kick-backs. We are not going anywhere with Janza.
He call alot of players in camp and later on get confused to pick player to make the line-up. Why call players when u are not going to use them. That is being incompetent and recipe for confusion!

I think Janza should give us his Line up the day before the matches so that we can decide whether to travel or not to watch those tired old footballers
