Former Nchanga Rangers Striker Dies

Former Nchanga Rangers striker Rodwell Matete has died.
Family spokesperson Samuel Matete said in Kitwe that his elder brother,62, died in the early hours of yesterday at Malcolm Moffat Hospital in Mufulira.
Matete, who played alongside Willie Phiri, Patrick Nkhata, Moffat Mutambo and Jim Chongo in the 1980s at Rangers, is survived by a wife, Bertha, and seven children.
