Zambian Synagogue Survivor Speaks Out – “I Just Heard A Huge Bang”
Tales of survival continue to be told from victims of the tragic collapse of a building at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) just over three weeks ago that led to over 100 casualties.
A Zambian, Melvin Bwalya, who resides in Lusaka’s Woodlands area was standing very close to the building when it fatally caved in.
Speaking to Zambian Christian newspaper, ‘The Church’, the 39 years old businessman, explained he was actually staying within the ill-fated building during his visit to The SCOAN.
“That day, I remember it was lunch time,” he recalled. “My room was in that same building. So, I left that room to go and have my lunch at a nearby restaurant just within the same premises. I was with my Zambian colleagues.”
“At the same time, a lot of South Africans were coming from somewhere and were entering that building. Among them, I recognised someone whom we did business together some years ago. So, my fellow Zambians left and I remained just on the corner chatting with that guy,” he narrated.
He added that just a few minutes into their chat, he heard a ‘huge bang’, subsequently losing consciousness. “I just heard a huge bang. I don’t remember anything from that moment because I am told I fainted.”
Sadly, the man he was conversing with was among the fatalities. “I was told the South African guy I was with died. As for me, it was just a small piece of concrete that hit me on the head and that is how I collapsed and fell a few meters away from the building where I was buried in a heap of dust,” narrated Mr Bwalya.
He added that although he was admitted in hospital, he was discharged a few hours later because he didn’t sustain any serious injuries. Mr Bwalya, who believes God rescued him, returned to Zambia a few days later.
He is convinced the attack was as a result of terrorists and not shoddy construction. “I was there. I saw those planes flying over the building and I believe there is something fishy that happened that day.”
He suggested that many people were jealous of T.B. Joshua’s success, prompting him to be a source of attack. “But God will defeat them and TB Joshua is not going down. In fact, I intend to go back there next month,” said Mr Bwalya who further urged Zambians to avoid speaking ill of Prophet Joshua.
“TB Joshua is here to stay. No amount of bad press will take him down. He is a great man who has done a lot for people around the world. I don’t know of any man of God in the world who is as generous as TB Joshua,” the Zambian concluded.
Meanwhile, the incident has done nothing to dampen Joshua’s popularity. Namibian politician Alex Kamwi, has stated that the tragedy, rather than discouraging people, has actually fuelled more interest of Namibians to visit The SCOAN in Nigeria.
“Now, more than ever before, many people want to go to Nigeria,” Kamwi, who is an Emmanuel TV Partner and helps facilitates visits to The SCOAN, told Namibian newspaper New Era.

Didn,t you read that the same day the tragedy happened an Air Force plane/jet for Nigeria Air Force which was in Northern part to fight your faverite Boko had gone missing from around 09:45hrs in Nigeria? The Tragedy happened 2 hours later. Either your Boko did this or a jealous military man did this, it is simple logic

Look at his works and compare to the so called men of God in Zambia…you will discover that they are just preaching about money with little or no ability to Deliver, Heal or to do Charity work. People who say rubbish on issues concerning SCOAN do not even watch Emmanuel TV. I am never the same person I used to be today because of the the teachings of T.B Joshua. I have been to SCOAN and still wants to go back. During yesterday’s service more was revealed and if people really want to learn more, they should watch the repeat of the service on Wednesday.

Dabwiso, reading the bible and receiving the word are two different things. You need the Spirit of God to receive it and I pray that you receive it. The Word of God has always been a subject of great controversy. The Pharisees believed they knew the Word but the they did not. Even the people who were healed by Jesus are physically dead. One only perishes if that person dies without undergoing spiritual rebirth.

I have never had any reason to doubt TBJ. This man is truly a man of God. I have never been to SCOAN, but what I see on Emmanuel TV really impresses me. If TBJ is a Satanist then he is a strange kind of Satanist. A Satanist who gives to the poor and needy, etc. A real humble man of God trough and through.

Next time pray from home. No need for you to travel all the way just for a miracle. People like Paul, Silas and even Peter prayed from dirty prisons and God heard their prayers meaning that the Lord is with you everywhere so there is no need to go looking for him. But the same bible in Acts says: Paul prayed for the sick and they were healed, his handkerchiefs were also used to heal the sick… this is exactly what TB Joshua is doing by praying for people and also giving out anointing water which heals and delivers! Seek the face of God seriously and pray for spiritual eyes and you will realize that TB J is a real prophet of God!!
What am i saying: Yes one should pray on his own but one also need people who are above you spiritually to pray for you. Even in the bible people followed jesus in order to be prayed for… Elisha and Elijah were also followed by people that need prayers

As much as people may or may not like T.B.Joshua, the Bible’s standard of differentiating between a false and a true prophet of God is that all his/her prophecies must be fufilled 100%. Failure to this, then you know that the prophet is not speaking for the true God (YHWH) because HE cannot lie. I leave it up to you bloggers to do some research and hopefully come to an infomed conclusion.
