Her Death Is Not In Vain, Mother Of South African Synagogue Collapse Victim

A South African mother who tragically lost her daughter in the collapse of T.B. Joshua’s guesthouse in Lagos, Nigeria on September 12th 2014 has expressed belief that her death served a purpose. It’s been almost three weeks since the tragedy in Lagos and Sibongile Madzhiye’s family is still waiting for their daughter’s remains to be brought back home. The bright 23-year-old final year BCom Accounting student was an avid Emmanuel TV viewer and thrilled at the opportunity to visit The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), along with over 300 other South Africans. “Immediately when she boarded the flight, she sent me an SMS – ‘Mummy, good morning'”, Sonny Madzhiye sombrely recounted to South African news channel ENCA reporter Bongiwe Khumalo. “She then called me at the [Lagos] airport. She was so excited. She said, ‘Mummy, they have come to fetch us to go to the church.’ I said, ‘It’s fine; take it easy. We will talk tomorrow.’ That was it. We never communicated after that.” Sibongile was among 84 South Africans at a pilgrimage to Joshua’s church in Lagos who died while taking their lunch as the guesthouse above them suddenly caved in. Her mother said when The SCOAN authorities informed her of her daughter’s passing, it merely confirmed what she had seen in a vision during prayer. She spoke glowingly of her daughter’s faith, “She loved the Lord so much. She was unique. One thing that I know – she was a child of God. She was set apart. I didn’t know that it was for this. I know that her death is not in vain. South Africa will never be the same.” Today, she waits patiently for her daughter’s remains to be brought home, acknowledging that the incident has actually moved her and the family as a whole closer to God. “I just immerse myself in the Word and pray for my family,” she said, the ‘Faith Bracelet’ from T.B. Joshua visible on her hand. “I think God is doing this for a purpose, so that we can get closer to Him. I have never spent time with God like this moment.” “One thing that I know [is that] nobody can stop God, whether the government or whoever – no one can stop God,” she said. “I believe that God’s time is the best. I’m appealing also to the people that lost their loved ones to stay in Christ. This is the opportunity to be closer to God, not to complain.” The family says it has no plans to take legal action against Prophet TB Joshua and they’re willing to travel to Nigeria to visit The SCOAN in the future. Officials are still arranging the repatriation of the remains of those who died three weeks ago and the South African government has warned that this process could take longer than expected. Nigerian 419 is big business. Now they say that water from Nigeria is Holly.
(2 Theselonian 2:11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

John 5 vs 11,12 (Blessed are you when people insult you,
persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil
against you because of me.Rejoice and be glad,
because great is your reward in heaven, for in the
same way they persecuted the prophets who
      were before you.)

If Jesus was beaten, mocked, persecuted and killed, what mor TB Joshua. Open your eyes.

Such gullibility is frighteningly dangerous. Whats wrong with us BLACKS..? instead of taking legal action against this Conman she is talking rubbish. That pretty young graduate died as a result of TB Joshua’s negligence. In serious countries that TB conman would have been behind bars by now!

Serious TB Joshua should answerable to the courts of law. Most countries should have arrested him by now. Why do they arrest Captain of a ship after its sunk or owner of collapsed building if it wasnt caused by natural causes? believe me he they need to investigate him kapuli kakwe.

Even God gets upset when HIS man does something against his will e.g in Numbers 20 Vs 11 God commanded Moses to strike a rock, and promises to make water flow in the desert for the people. However, Moses struck the rock TWICE instead of speaking to it. Because of just this one thing, God told Moses that he will no longer be permitted to bring the people into the Promised Land. TB Joshua upset God hes answerable I stand by that!

This is a question of very poor workmanship on the building. TB whoever, cut corners and compromised quality in a bid to cut costs. What we see now is a result of consistent and continued weakening of that structure. Proper investigation would reveal that there was something terribly wrong with that building, and TB knows it. Elaima amabaka, this is time to humble himself and seek forgiveness from the families of the victims of that tragedy.

      • Judge Joe Bidden

        October 7, 2014 at 1:59 pm

@Levy Good point right there. Structural integrity of the building was compromised, we arent saying Joshua killed people and therefore guilty per se, no, Joshua should be answerable for inhabiting humans in a structure that wasnt structurally sound, that part he should pay for that very sin! He knows possibly poor materials were used compounded by poor workmanship and supervision.

    Romans 14:8

For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

      Exodus 20:13

Thou shalt not kill…, therefore, let man die to natural causes than to vices due to human negligence and idiocy.

@ Judge Joe Bidden. You are right. There are times any of us need to be question over anything that is questionable. Nobody is above the law. Life is life. What i expect from the man at the minimum is a well elaborated apology to all especially the berieved. What is wrong with that? The point is that loss of life has occurred, yes whether we live or die we are the Lord’s but our death may not be God’s will at the specific time it happens.

    • Judge Joe Bidden

      October 7, 2014 at 3:31 pm

@Fire, Joshua has never given an official apology to the victims families but he rushed to go preach (2 Sundays ago) about how calamities are befalling upon him, damn, is it only about him? He’s alive but more than 90 innocent followers perished! Yet he blamed Satan how hes sending him trials and tribulations!… Rubbish. Condemning him doesnt make me an Earthen, or anti-Christ but death by negligence is akin to murder.

What happenned is simply murder by extreme negligence. Its foolish to continue glorifying such a man for causing all these debts. No apology but instead sends dirty water and mealie meal-what for God’s sake

      October 8, 2014 at 12:34 pm

@ club Zero, we have all committed sin, but not the Capital Sin – MURDER! like your TB Joshua did. The i.diot even said he ‘knew’ about the disaster. He quickly backed off that line of defense of trying to trick the Gullible after he realized that could mean being slapped with a murder charge and could have been sent to Jail. The owner of the Ferry in South Korea was being sought by State Police before he was found dead. Have the Nigerian Police even interrogated your TB? NO!

  16. WHY NOT

    October 7, 2014 at 5:45 pm

I am a structural Engineer and I can confidently say the collapse of the building was not a result of structural failure but a controlled demolition. If I may ask ‘Where did the military plane flying over the building come from and where did it land afterwards?’ I smell a big rat. I hope the findings of the investigations will be made public and not end up like The Gabon Disaster report.

South africans are also easily fooled.Shaka the Zulu fooled them and now it tbj fooling them. This can be seen in the name of the young graduate who should have used her research skills to find the truth about tbj by reading the Bible to the bottom and compare truths to see if it is so according to the Holy book.
She was a dull accountant who should have been strict with details as we know accountants to be.
