It Will Be Foolish to Allow RB Back, Says Nevers

Happy Times: Mumba(L) sharing a light moment with RB
IT would be ‘foolish’ for the MMD to allow former President Rupiah Banda to bounce back into active politics, MMD president Nevers Mumba has said.
Dr Mumba said that the matter surrounding Mr Banda’s coming back will be handled maturely.
He was speaking through his spokesperson, Mr Raphael Nakachinda, yesterday in an interview in reaction to Mr Banda’s statement that he is consulting on a possible return to active politics and that he has the right to do so.
Dr Mumba said that enemies of the MMD who are determined to see the party destroyed are the ones calling on Mr Banda to return to active politics.
He said he is inseparable from the former republican President, adding that enemies of the MMD will not succeed in their cheap politics.
Dr Mumba said Mr Banda should be respected as he has immensely contributed to national development.
Former Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication in the Chiluba government, Alfred Ndhlovu said Mr Banda has the right to come back to politics.
Mr Ndhlovu, who is also MMD publicity secretary, said Mr Banda has a democratic and constitutional right to return to politics.
“Rupiah Banda was just finishing Mwanawasa’s three years, the constitution allows him, he did not serve his two terms,” he said.

Nevers whats making you so nervous about RB?, didnt you at one time say never will i ever go back to Neverland politics which never seemed to make sense ever in the never ending world of nervous politics? Nevers just never say that ever let RB be back so we ever have political choices as electorates.
Ever yours, Judge Joe Bidden.

That we should even be having this discussion so many years after that ignoble defeat by emuemudi just shows how shallow our thinking is. MMD is damaged, actually expired goods and anyone who assocates with them does so at their own peril. MMD nibakabolala full time with their chief conman FTJ. All those wishing Rupiah to come back are the ones who were busy stealing with him. Zambia would have been on its knees if it had allowed this man to continue being President. To this day I do not know what Mwanawasa saw in this man to pick him him up from his farm in Chipata to appoint him VP *Shaking my head*.

Allow Him To Return To Active Politics So That Pf Can Have Field Day. In 2011 he had all the government machinery but he lost. What miracle is he going tpo perform for him to win any election in zambia. He is not even popular in eastern province. If he think he is popular and he can wion let him form his own political party and lose terebly

RB’s coming back is no threat to anybody even if Mumba is crying foul however, remember what you went through after PF won. “once beaten twice shy”. I would urge you to enjoy your retirement while advising upcoming politicians.
As for Mumba you will never rule this country and stop using God’s name in vain by claiming he spoke to you to quit your ministry and join politics. That’s a lie.

In wat capacity is RB supposed to return to MMD, is it as a president, a committee member or as a mere carder?

The foolishness of Mumba has prompted RB to think of bouncing back period.

RB coming back to embarrass himself is his constitutional and democratic right. However, it is a fallacy for RB to assume that we are that disgruntled as to vote him back into power. Anyway, PF is still ruling and we are waiting for the new presidential candidate from PF, if not we already have presidents in waiting in Nawakwi,HH, Chipimo, Milupi, Magande and other mature but middle aged individuals.
We will not eat our own vomit as we already spat out RB. Let him stay away from active politics and play the elderly statesman role instead. My advise even though I am not Anyina wa RB!
