RB Says Enacting New Constitution Would Be His Top Priority If He Makes A Political Comeback

Former President Rupiah Banda says enacting a new constitution would be his top priority if he makes a political comeback and is elected President

Mr Banda whose political comeback debate has been gaining momentum lately is still eligible to stand for President having only served three years during his last presidency.

Mr Banda is quoted by AFP as saying he would change the country’s constitution if elected president again.

The 77-year-old former President says he has heard calls for him to return to the political fray but that up to now he has not reacted, but merely listening.

Mr Banda says he would instantly announce that the constitution be changed.

Your comeback would make 2016 interesting and not Nevers MUMBA who has caused a lot of divisions in the Party.

Ba Banda sure nabukote tetimwikale fye? Umunenu SATA is struggling with old age sickness. Now I understand why you cried when Sata took over. If your sons looted our kwacha, what more when you come back? Not my vote. I would rather vote for Dr MPOMBO in that case.

Who can trust leadership to RB. Just imagine of issues of Oil dealing, huge sums of money spent during his campaign.

He is a man who in two years had to build castles for his twins. He never even looked at the welfare of the zambian except dancing.

let take his jokes to his family and farm. The constitution begun with him, he did very little about.

I will rather vote youth HH a novice.

He has heard calls or he has a plan himself? Up to now he has not reacted. But this item is already showing a reaction!

Wisdom would speak that he maintains his current position and would that now give him the due respect at his age of 77? Why again jump into the muddy game?

The PF will soon start his parentage issue, just wait. If he wants to go back to court over several things he should come back, if he wants his passport taken away “RB” come back. With all the money he has still wants more, If I were him would keep quite and enjoy my retirement. The retirement package will be taken away.

RB we love u but be careful
