Traditional Rulers Warn TB Joshua’s Critics NOT To Persecute Him

tbjoshuaLagos-Traditional rulers in Akokoarea of Ondo State have cautioned ‘mischief makers’ to stop blaming the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B Joshua over the collapse of a guest house within the church premises in Ikotun, Lagos.

In a statement jointly signed by the Olukare of Ikare-Akoko, Oba Akadiri Momoh and the Akala of Ikaram-Akoko, Oba Andrew Momodu on behalf of the monarchs in the four local government areas, they described as unacceptable a situation where some people would be casting aspersions on the Prophet of God who hails from Arigidi Akoko.

They said this was happening when the enquiry instituted by the Lagos State government into the incident was yet to be concluded.

The royal fathers urged all to believe the submissions of the Synagogue founder because he had been in the forefront of assisting less privileged, Christians and Muslims worldwide both spiritually and financially.

The monarchs prayed for God’s guidance for the prophet and condoled the families of the departed souls.

Also, the Congress of Akoko Youths, (CAY) has criticised those calling for the prosecution of Pastor Joshua over the collapsed building.

A statement by its President, Babatunde Momoh and Trustees Chairman, Olanipekun Gbenga decried the moves by some people to distort facts by deliberately shifting blames on the religious leader.

The group urged the federal government to constitute an independent panel to probe the incident and bring out the fact.

Besides, CAY expressed the need for government to strengthen the security network in the country and that of its airspace.

It urged SCOAN founder to consider relocation of his ministry from Lagos to Akoko land for rapid transformation of the area in particular and Ondo State in general.

indeed security in Nigeria is compromised including their airspace, hence the happenings.I see no need for TBJ to relocate but to continue where he is. He is protect by the blood of Jesus, nothing gonna happen to him.

I have never personally seen Jesus feed the hungry nor, have I seen him give drink to those who thirst. But, I do personally see thousands of people die of starvation. I do not recall Jesus giving out clothes. I see the faithful sicken and die on a daily basis.

Superstitions and religions, they are all one. They all come from manipulative people in power who use it to influence small-minded, poorly-educated people who are unable to rationalise.

What pisses me off is we still have Zambians who are so brainwashed by blind Christianity, talking against TB Joshua is like a cardinal sin… yes Iam christian.. yes I still maintain chikala Joshua should be taken to court. Fullustop.

    • Peace   October 13, 2014 at 4:47 pm

So true… guess what my own childhood friends are so brainwashed with this trash that whenever I criticize any of those con-men who call themselves prophets I automatically become a satanist.. its pathetic!!
Please read verse Isaiah 45:7. “I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create evil. I the lord do all these things”. The Christian God outright claims that he is indeed the source of evil

  13. the bible is just a book like Jelita na Mulenga   October 13, 2014 at 4:54 pm

To be more specific, let’s talk about the lord’s creation of evil, let’s talk about the conception of Satan. This being was created and unleashed by God. Jehovah knew (for he is the all knowing) that at the time of Lucifer’s creation he would eventually become Satan, and spend his existence reeking havoc on man kind. Leading people into criminal activities. Suppose I were to build an evil robot, that I knew would go around torturing and murdering people. Whose fault would it be if I let it loose? Mine or the robot’s? Of course it would be mine, for I created it with that purpose and unleashed it for that purpose. Now I ask you, whose fault is deviltry in the world? Is it the PUPPET Satan or the being that deliberately created Satan’s evil?

  14. Iip   October 13, 2014 at 5:10 pm

Some people have attempted to tell me that God has a purpose unknown to us, and that we must simply accept his will. Would you keep a friend who commits evil and offers no self-justification or remorse? Of course not, so why is this same judgment not applied to God? It’s seems rather contradictory that this trait is despised in humanity, yet, it is worshiped in religion.
let’s talk about the lord’s creation of evil, let’s talk about the conception of Satan. This being was created and unleashed by God. God still remains almighty, you can never question the creator of the universe and everything in it .Once you start to comprehend Gods purpose he seizes to be GOD.So dear Brothers we shall never know, lets just search his greatness because he is GOD. what ever he has revealed is for us and what he has not is not for us. As for tb Joshua let God himself deal with him because he himself(GOD) his all knowing. My condolence to the bereaved families.
may they find solace in GOD.

“Witch doctors and false African prophets are the same people in different venues…… they use different “tools” at different times.. the bible or the African mumbo jumbo!! Which both leads to losing money and false promises.

  18. boss   October 14, 2014 at 9:27 am

It is suprising and great reflection of how dull people can be especially in Africa, TB Joshua is having the highest comments whether negative or positive.

TB Joshua is not the only subject on Tumfweko, there is also the issue of 2015 Budget which has attracted very few comments and yet this what directly affect you as Zambians. Debate about TB Joshua no matter how negatively you persive him or how much you hate him will not change anything about him. Neither will it add value to your. Can you see how empty some things are and why most people suffer in Africa because they concentrate their energies on wrong things and rarely appreciate those doing what is good and praise people like ISIS and Boko Haram

  19. cliff mulenga   October 14, 2014 at 7:33 pm

Some of the comments put across about Prophet TB Joshua linking him to the collapse of the Guest house hold no substance and we can tell how weaked the world is.I wouldn’t expect a sensible featured end up just insulting the Man of God,I regret this kind of behaviour really these are end times.Any way this is the behaviour of dry bones and I would appeal to whoever is concerned about making these publication to first go through whatever people are commenting if they are of good taste to be published. I have read about these things for the first time.I feel it is pointless to even start by going what is written its like taking bread and toss it to the dogs.If you are travelling and you happen to be involved in an accident. Caused by a driver driving the opposite direction whom can you blame for causing an accident even a stupid fool can tell this can rather be a proverb those cricizing TB Joshua what can you say.
