Bad Publicity Is Making Me Famous – Resa
EVICTED Zambian Big Brother envoy, Theresa Liteta says she is disappointed that most Zambians did not show her much love.
During a press briefing held at Southern Sun Hotel in Lusaka shortly after her arrival from South Africa on Wednesday, Theresa, also known as Resa, bemoaned what she termed negative publicity from Zambia.
“I have read some sad comments and some good ones as well. I have received so much love from people who are not even Zambians, hence I’m disappointed that my [fellows Zambians] have not shown me much love. But I’m happy the negative publicity in my country is making me famous,” she said.
The 25-year-old events planner said she was also shocked that the majority of comments on social media suggested that she was too quiet for the show when, in fact, she is bubbly.
“I’m a very bubbly person as you can see, except that one should know when to talk and when not to. Besides, there were too many of us in the house,” she said.
And Resa refuted media reports that she denied knowing fellow Zambian housemate, Macky 2 during one of her diary sessions.
She has challenged people accusing her to produce a recording of the alleged diary session, further arguing that she only discussed Macky 2 with Nigerian housemates, Tayo and Lilian.
“That was [a] lie. I knew Macky 2 prior to entering the house, we met at the auditions. He even bought me lunch. All I said was that I would love to be closer to him as a way of forming an alliance because for me, Tayo and Lilian were close. So again I’m disappointed that the rumour is coming from my [fellow Zambians]. There is this pull her/him down syndrome. I live in Namibia and I only met Macky 2 during the auditions,” said Resa, who looked annoyed.
She has, meanwhile, pledged to support Macky 2, saying the rapper was very humble and stood a great chance of winning the US$300,000 prize money.
“Just because Macky 2 is quiet doesn’t mean he is not good, he is very humble and an amazing person too. I think he stands a great chance of winning,” Resa stressed.
And MultiChoice Public Relations manager, Mwika Mulindima said the BBA show changed people’s lives and hoped that Resa would pick a corporate responsibility.
Unlike most press briefings for evicted housemates, Resa’s briefing, which began an hour late, was attended by few media houses.
Former big brother housemate, Sulu, was in attendance.

Problem resa you stay in namibia and not zambia and namibia has different culture to zambia.how do you expect zambians to support you?moreover if you win you utilise all that möney in namibia and zambia

Macky 2 is extremly quiet. I have nevr head him talk fo month than a minute. He is rarely on camera. What is he doing in that house anyway

BIG BROTHER should get more transparent with selection of participants. It is shocking to learn RESA lives in Namibia! There are many aspiring citizens resident in the country that would represent Zambia much better.

Awe Macky 2 is doing very well mwebantu….he talks only when it is necessary. That in itself gives him a plus as compared to others who behave as if they are mad. I particularly like the way he puts off ladies who have tried so hard to make a pass at him e.g. The evicted Esther and the girl from Malawi. He has been very honest and blunt from start that he is in a serious relationship outside the house. Infact everyone in the house seems to have a liking for him. He is also very respectiful and surprisingly, his English is not that bad. Let us support our own.

Whoever is saying Macky 2 does not talk is not truthful or does not watch the show. He contributes positively and speaks very good english. He is just full of respect like a true Zambian. Will keep voting and supporting him.
