Zambia`s celebrated music icon Mampi is this Friday 24th October going to be the main music performer at a function organized to mark Zambia’s 50th Independence anniversary in Oslo, Norway. The Zambians living in Norway are delighted to invite Mampi to this year’s celebrations because of the importance they have attached to the Zambian culture despite being far away from home. The event is being organized with the auspices of the Norway-Zambia Friendship Association (NZFA)
“Since this year is a unique year in the history of Zambia, for attaining 50 years of peace and inter-cultural living, we decided to invite some artists from Zambia to come and join the Zambians living in Norway in celebrating this milestone achievement for Mother Zambia” ( Kabanda Mwansa, (Mr), Chairperson, NZFA)
Other artists that will share the stage with Mampi include BFlow, Admiral P, Ras Kinky and KaSimba from Kenya. Dj Eric and Daniel Lion will also be in the house to support the star studded line up of artists.
“Zambians living in the Scandinavia and other countries that could make it this Friday are mostly welcome to join in the celebrations that start at 22 h Norwegian/Zambian time at Månefisken Concert House in Oslo”
