A-40-year old man of Chililabombwe has died after drinking six bottles of Brandy.
Saidi Sakala of Minestone area was found dead in his Toyota Corolla registration number ALV 3056.
Copperbelt deputy police commissioner Mukuka Chewe confirmed the death of Sakala.
Chewe said Sakala was on a drinking spree that was held at Chililabombwe Square with his colleagues .
“The report we have indicate that Sakala took six bottles of Brandy known as Bolls around midnight yesterday,” Chewe said.
He said Sakala ‘blacked out’ and was put in the car at the square by his brother in law Maybin Kabwe.
“Sadly he was found dead in the morning at around 08:00 hours at Kasumbalesa,” Chewe said.
Chewe said his body was in Kakoso clinic mortuary and police had launched investigations into the matter to establish what exactly happened.

What was the motive of taking such alcohol?????????
How did he move from Chililabombwe square to Kasumbalesa?
There are two volumes of bottles of bols; one is small about 200mls and the other we call it bomb which is 750mls. So, if this guy took the smaller ones then definitely he is not strong…
kunwa no kulya.that’s it guys, nangu tuma pieces twankonko utwa 50 ngwee,it makes a difference.
What happened when he black out; he should have been rushed to the clinic that is beer poisoning so the health workers could have resusciatated him by using IV fluids plus 50% glucose. Too bad that the brother in law could not take him to the hospital or clinic. The level of dehydration could have been very severe due to omosis actively induce by by the brandy. All the water in the body moved to where there was high concentration of potent liquid. In this case in the abdomina. MHSHRIP
Mwalondolola ba Dr Ganizani twasanta
Mmmmmm bolls,is dat shitt still around?
Death comes in different ways,so we should not be surprised but understand that it’s time, when it was pronounced by God,has never mentioned any thing to kill a person,he just said you will die
malabishi!!
Ati pabwalwa naine pakafwa cimo. so who passed on?
Drinking six bottles of brandy (4 & half litres)in one day is sheer madness. Six bottles of Mosi lager, yes but brandy or any other spirits is suicide.
It was suicide mission.
Aslan alcohol is harram
Pantu mubikamo no bupuba, someone is dead here and you are busy mocking. Lets avoid this cheap spirits – i mean Jameson is fair.
