The New K50 NOTES Go Into Circulation

50 kwacha note

A new Fifty Kwacha commemorative note bearing the portraits of the country’s five Presidents has gone in to circulation.

The note has been unveiled by the Bank of Zambia to mark the country’s fifty years of independence.

Finance Minister, Alexander Chikwanda speaking at the launch this morning says 50 years of independence is an opportunity to reflect on progress made to improve social economic justice for citizens.

He notes that the modest economic growth rate the county has achieved over the years has not translated in to economic prosperity for citizens.

Mr. Chikwanda says the first ever circulative commemorative notes should be a symbol of the country’s unity and diversity.

And Bank of Zambia Governor, Michael Gondwe says the note will circulate alongside the current family of notes.

He says the Bank will embark on sensitization of the public

This is a man who claims prophetic powers par excellence. He is able to predict disaster half way across the globe, and he couldn’t see the evil machinations of saboteurs right under his nose?

you be careful with what you say! Even in the area of Jesus not everyone was healed. God has his own way of doing things. Stop displaying your ignorance.

Again fifty years down the road their will be no space for other presidents like me. putting people on money others will think like they are Gods put them in other things like calendar, magazine were people can choose to take it or not. But not on money ask us all to make certain decisions.

GENTLEMEN, IN 1960 cairo rd was a dust road, church rd was a paved path, there was just one building at cabinet house, LOOK OUT FOR THE PICTURES IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THEM.

EACH ONE OF THESE PRESIDENTS HAS PLAYED A PART TO MAKE ZAMBIA WHAT IT IS NOW.WE HAVE DEVELOPED. WE SHUD BE PROUD.

Stop lying, go to Andrews Hotel along Cairo rd and see the photos of how clean and smooth the roads were before Independence. Lusaka used to be a beautiful town. The villagers ruined it.

Can BOZ also change the shapes of the coins, Can they be like the UK which have different sizes for all coins. Without my reading glasses I am unable to tell the difference between 50n and 10n, etc.
