Married Woman Caught In A Sexual Act With A Man,Beaten By Her Husband
A 28-year-old woman of Kafue’s Soloboni compound is battling for her life in hospital after being beaten by her husband when she was caught in a sexual act with another man on the eve of independence.
Shabusale PF ward councillor, Gibson Sinkala, who confirmed the incident, named the woman as Gift Kanjele.
Authorities at Kafue District Hospital described Kanjele’s condition as critical, adding that plans were underway to evacuate her to University Teaching Hospital for further medical attention.
Sinkala, who is also district council chairman, said the woman’s husband, Chungu Kanganja, had since fled the area and police had launched a manhunt.
“I have a very serious case of gender-based violence in my ward, where Gift Kanjele was badly beaten by her husband Kanganja after he allegedly caught his wife pants down with another man during a golden jubilee party held in Soloboni. The woman is in a critical condition and I’m told she is still admitted in KDH. My advice to my fellow men is, beating our wives every time we have differences is never a solution,” he advised.

Women are very crafty these days. After duping a man into marriage, they later on start going for other men and once they are caught, there are two things involved. Its either you divorce her or take instant justice. If you divorce she ll ve more than half a share of what you ve sweated for and if you take instant justice, it ll be GBV.
