HH Should Allow Edgar Lungu Go Unopposed

My humble plea to UPND President Hakainde Hichilema is that DON’T contest the 2015 presidential bye-election. Let PF choose someone to finish off their term till 2016 and then only should the party contest.
History has it that the people of Zambia prefer continuity. We also know that we do not have the resources to waste on a bye-election and then in less than 2 years a general election.
I have said on a number of occasions that 2 years for a new government is not sufficient to make any mark on the country. Winning the bye-election may actually be the final nail in the coffin for UPND and HH.
I say let Edgar Lungu go uncontested and let’s meet him in 2016.
However if HH decides not to heed my advice to him, he will have only himself to blame.

all u bloggers are intittled to ur opinions. but in times like this reason should superceed jokes. let’s unite like we did at Dr Mwanawasa’s funeral. God knows who ll next rule Zambia. The constitution should be allowed to prevail over people’s opinions. Thanks be God KK is still leaving to guide.

What we need to understand is that when pipo vote for a presido, they vote for an individual and not the party. The issue of the party finishing the term of office is neither here nor there. HE MCS won the election as presido himself. Even if he had stood under NAREP, UNIP or UPND he would still have been president. MCS RIP

Is HH the only opposition Leader? even if HH decides to not to participate in presidential by elections, what about other opposition Parties? is HH a factor? My Bro u ve to appeal to all opposition political parties to not to participate so who ever will be chosen will go unopposed. not only HH. so u fear him so much? Aleisa kanshi.
