PF At Risk Of Total COLLAPSE -Kabwe

Dr Guy Scott did not impose himself as acting President on Zambians, says Kabwe PF chairman Mulenga Kabwe.
And Kabwe has warned that if not curbed, the current confusion in the PF could lead to the party’s collapse. In an interview, Kabwe said PF members should rejoice that one of their own is acting President. He said the development should be used by all party members to unite even beyond president Michael Sata’s burial next Tuesday.
“The men and women in Cabinet did a commendable job to uphold the Constitution of the land. Guy Scott did not impose himself on the people of Zambia and on that position,” Kabwe said. And Kabwe said confusion, infighting and divisions among PF members have the potential to weaken the ruling party’s performance in the forthcoming presidential by-election.
He called for discipline among party members and sympathisers as the nation mourns president Sata. “The confusions we are hearing from some regions, especially Lusaka, are by far not in the interest of the party but a recipe for disintegration and total collapse of the party,” Kabwe said. He said the electorate was watching how some PF members who were hungry for power would behave with the passing on of president Sata.
“What is annoying is that those people who are bringing this anarchy are those whose objective is to reap from the party and government.
Let our members know that as we fight over these trivial matters, our colleagues in the opposition are busy mobilising the masses and putting in place campaign strategies,” Kabwe said. He challenged PF members to shelve any hatred for fellow members and other citizens as a demonstration of the peace and love that the late president advocated.
Kabwe has since called on the PF’s central committee to demonstrate authority and give guidelines on how party members are expected to mourn their leader.

Very sensible contribution there @Jojo. Scott is a Zambian, born and bred here. Sata recognized this and gave him the position of Vice President. He has always been a politician, starting from the first Government (UNIP). So suddenly he is not Zambia? It is a waste of time and resources to have elections now. Let the man continue until 2016.

PF need to watch there back. If this confusion continues, they might as well kiss PF goodbye.

sata did nothing to be remembered. he was a liar, panga promoter, tribalist and divisive leader. Kabwe is right PF is dead. And those who think that there is no formidable opposition are just cheating themselves. wait and see. Zambia is not Zambia for a crocked tribe only.

This is true of what Mr Kabwe has spoken if PF is not careful the party will be voted out full stop and all those with ambitions of Presidency will be shamed at the same time lose whatever positions they hold if a Head of State is elected from any of the opposition parties and so the top PF party members should not take the Zambians for granted.
