Why Prophet TB Joshua Failed To Appear At Inquest
The founder, Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet T.B. Joshua, on Wednesday failed to appear before the coroner, Magistrate O. A. Komolafe, probing the cause of the September 12 building collapse in the church.
The church lawyer, Mr. Olalekan Ojo, told the coroner that Joshua failed to appear before the coroner because he was not served any summon. He said he saw the need to set the record straight in order not to cause confusion and following a warning by the magistrate that the instrumentality of the law would be invoked against any invited witness who fails to appear.
Ojo said, “May I with respect inform this court that as at today no summons to appear before this honourable court has been personally served on Prophet T.B. Joshua.
“I do not want a situation where this court might be misled to believe that a witness summons has been served on the prophet. Monday was the first time that the bailiff of the court attempted to effect service on Prophet T.B. Joshua but unfortunately the prophet was not around.
“Being the chief mourner he had been getting in touch with families of those who lost their loved ones.
Consequently, Komolafe said another appearance date would be given to Joshua when the court reconvenes.
While conceding to Ojo’s argument, Komolafe however issued a warning that Joshua should make himself reachable.
He said as a man of God and a leader he should respect the law of the land and lead by example.

Nigger pliz .Just why should a man of God be scared of the law?He runs a church company which is probably listed on the exchange market.He has to answer to the stake holders.

What is the point of prayer? Surely your god knows what you are going to pray for beforehand – and has already decided on his course of action. Is it not absurd to think that you can persuade god to change his mind?

Exactly what I was predicting and iam watching this space. .. TB Joshua needs to be put where he belongs. Lead by example so far he’s been a very bad witness and now avoiding the court.

Why are you in the business of misleading readers?. Prophet T.B Joshua is not answerable in this case but the Lagos state Government. Why are you not posting info. about what the Lagos Divisional Commanding Officer said concerning investigating the case of sabotage? Did you get info on how the Lagos State government witnesses are giving contradictory statements? Why are you not telling readers that the pathologist only examined two bodies out of 116? Why are you not telling readers that the soil has not been tested for explosion? Why haven’t you said anything about the Red Cross statement?

If busses kill people on board definatly the owner is answerable.A plane flying over a church can bring down a building.Maybe he hired chinese contractors,but crearly the Nigger knows something

@Hon Why TB Joshua is answerable is he’s not being charge with murder but did his 5 storey building structural integrity stable and habitable to house humans? Was material used and workmanship of good quality? It’s in most English/international law that if indeed the structure integrity was compromised then the onus is on him – man slaughter on 118 counts.

Judge Joe Bidden, are sure it is Prophet T.B Joshua who should answer those question? Where were the Lagos state buildings inspectors before the building collapsed? Do you believe Prophet can ascertain the quality of the structure by himself? By the way the Lagos state government is crafting its own answers through this inquest and it will be answerable to the the Federal Government soon.

…continued. Secondly being the head of SCOAN then he’s a key witness. Also if the building was weak then it can implicate even more people, the council officials (building inspectors), structural engineers, contractors, material suppliers, buyers list goes on.

Remember his workers tried to chase rescuers on site, he was asked by the court to provide list of victims he failed, tried to bribe victims families with 5000 USD and millie meal most refused, he failed to apologise to families in time, failed to facilitate DNA tests on victims to ID whose parts and to which family

@Hon it’s a general law that if a ship, building, plane, sinks, collapses, crushes respectively then captain, building owner, manufacturers r held accountable in courts of law

Is TB Joshua a contractor or expert in building? What question that man will ask TB Joshua? Nigerian gov is a problem. No wonder BoKo can break prisons and the gov soldiers are quite.

Prophet T.B Joshua is causing so much discomfort in so many people’s camps/kingdoms; no wonder the many insults and hate talk directed at him. Why not just ignore him if you think he is a fool, conman, agent of the devil whatever names you call him? As for me, SCOAN is the most living church in the world today with its HQ situated in the downtrodden suburb of Ikotun, Lagos but reaching even the most elite individuals all over the world, headed by T.B Joshua, a man without any college or university education, a man who cannot even speak every good English but he is always preaching to professors, doctors, Presidents, ministers, mention them. He does not follow them as the case is here, but they follow him and not just from within Nigerian but from all over the world. Doesn’t that make him different?

Miles lets leave these THOMASES alone. Given chance i would sponsor there way to and from SCOAN, and when we get back they would never utter any bad word against Prophet TB Joshua. They even fail to notice how important this name is in many households worldwide and more of it from these mushrooming pastors. Just subscribe to Emmanuel TV and be an everlasting witness.

Ba Tumfweko, where did you “uplift” this article from? An inquest is not a court; it is what you call a tribunal here. The findings of the inquest will then be taken to the federal court. That is why the inquest team has been taken to court by the SCOAN lawyers because they are trying to force T.B Joshua into the whole issue instead of themselves preparing to answer why a building in their own state has killed so many people. They even seem to be at a loss because T.B Jashua was not the builder and neither can he certify the building fit for occupation. And the Lagos state government has been collecting levies from SCOAN. Those who have been to SCOAN will agree with me that the SCOAN structures are far from being of substandard.
