Boy Drowns In Zambezi River
A chirundu boy was on Monday 10/11/2014 drown in the Zambezi River. Anthony Mbwe Junior 18 who just completed school at Olympia High school in Lusaka met his fate on Monday when he went swimming with his friend on the Zambezi River.
Meanwhile, the truck belonging to his father has been completely gutted by fire.
And according to some eye witness. Said the late Anthony swimming with his friends and suddenly just saw him lifting his arms, that’s how he sunk in deep water and that was the end And in some efforts to try to rescue him, his friends tried to look for him in water but it was too late they just collected his cloths and took to his father who identified the t-shirt
And speaking to the former Chirundu Councilor Mr.Gift Chanda at the funeral house on Tuesday .Mr.Mbewe Anthony who is father to the deceased, Said. It’s a double tragedy. I have lost my some and my canter also has been completely burnt to ashes. I can’t believe that, my son Anthony is gone and today we sent our driver to go and collect some fire wood I just received the message that the truck got fire and it’s completely destroyed. I don’t really know what’s happening.
