Munali ward councilor Robinson Kalota has expressed disappointment over Forum for Democratic Alternatives (FDA) President Ludwig Sondashi’s remarks that the country does not need young politicians because they lack confidence.
Mr. Kalota says at a time that the world is changing quickly and more new ideas are being born including younger people getting involved in the political mine-field, it is extremely disturbing to hear people say they do not need young people to participate in decision making.
Mr. Kalota says it is absurd for the former Member of Parliament to make such a discriminatory and divisive statement stating that it is detrimental to the development of the country.
He states that Mr. Sondashi should reflect on the fact that Dr Kenneth Kaunda was only 40 when he became President of a young nation called Zambia in 1964 while the world is now full of young people in key leadership positions.

SAY NO TO OLD LEARDERS!!! Zambians have put up with bad government for too long. They should protest more, like people in other parts of the world.
