BREAKING NEWS: DR Christine kaseba Joins Presidential Race

christine

Former first lady Christine Kaseba has filed in her nomination papers to contest the PF Presidency, becoming the only female applicant, in a race that has drawn the interest of eight male contenders.

Dr Kaseba says she has been compelled to join the race to save the PF from destruction or abandonment of the vision and ideals of the late President Michael Sata.

she is saddened and pained that the PF has been characterised by violence, divisions and acrimony in its efforts to find a new leader.

Dr Kaseba says the divisions pose a serious threat to the party and the realisation of the dreams of the late president Sata as contained in the party manifesto.

She is calling for unity of purpose to consolidate the gains the PF made under the leadership of her late husband.

Dr Kaseba says her grief of mourning the loss of her husband cannot be compared to the pain that would result if the party is allowed to die because of divisions.

For her, she says the true mourning of the late president would be to complete the work that he began.

She is also encouraged by the so many people within and outside the PF who have encouraged her to take the leadership of the party.

Dr Kaseba says she has consulted with her family and has listened to the calls urging her to contest the Presidency of the PF.

Chaps listen: the funeral is over and the deadline for logging nominations was today. So you chaps want her to miss out? Till death DO US PART. Remember Scot has said the candidates themselves will decide who stands on PF ticket that is why they are all putting in their own nominations.

Ba Kaseba you have my vote!! She has the support of Mugabe! The lady is very well educated, internationally exposed, a Girl child ambassador, breast cancer awareness advocate, an approacheable leader etc. She will be a unifying factor. Ba UPND and MMD are supporting edgar Lungu fully knowing that he will be easier to trounce. Koseni na HH wenu. Ngabamunaya by a woman ninshi you will orphans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its okay for her to stand since we are trying to build a democratic state. However, I see them divided as a family. Why didn’t they come up with one candidate between her and Mulenga Sata?

In any big organization like PF, u expect such divisions and the like. So to insinuate that she is contesting to save the image of pf is a big mistake. To me, 2016 would have been more ideal for her. In fact her political ambition has raised more questions..As a family, why didnt they rally behind one person! Imagine the mother (widow) standing against the son (mulenga sata)! This is not normal. It has shown that there’s tag of war in the family. In my view the party should have supported one candidate. As it is now, everything is pointing to Eddy Lungu. I hope pipo like dr. kaseba wont be disgraced. May the chosen one take over!

This family of Sata must be very selfish and desperate people, from the same family its Mulenda Sata, Miles Sampa and now its Chritine Kaseba. Its like going to play lottery. You many number to hope atleast one might go thru.
