Edgar Lungu To File In His Nomination
PF Secretary General Edgar Lungu is expected to file his nominations today Wednesday 19th November 2014.
Deputy Secretary General Bridget Attanga confirmed that she had already received and receipted the K20,000 nomination fee from her boss yesterday.
And sources close to the PF Campaigns, disclosed that Edgar Lungu obtained his largest but quiet endorsement when Minister of Finance, Alexander Chikwanda also pledged to pay his Mbuya’s nomination fee.
In his usual self deprecating way,Lungu sent shivers when he spoke about “consulting and waiting for voices of the people” and many wondered if the perceived front runner was contemplating withdrawing.
Supporters of Lungu are already gathering at NASDEC Sports Complex near Showgrounds where Lungu is expected to address them after his nominations have been accepted.
Lungu is starting his big day with an appearance on Hot FM famous breakfast show, and the crew, Hope and Chichi are broadcasting live from Lungu’s house on Lewanika Close off Brentwood Drive in Woodlands.
Others expected to file their nominations include former Foreign Affairs Minister. Given Lubinda.
Yesterday, Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba and Mulenga Sata filed their nominations.
Deputy Minister of Commerce, Miles Sampa filed his nominations last week.
There is growing speculations that surprise aspiring candidates might file that would include Chishimba Kambwili and others.
And many have been speculating about the possible and surprise candidacy of widow to late President and former First Lady, Dr. Christine Kaseba-Sata.
The Central Committee is expected to sit and consider the list of candidates and also determine the mode of adopting such a successful candidate( General Conference or MCC Meeting).

EL is on his way beautiful guys….. mwalungwa. Looking at the pf names vying for adoption just gives the impression of people who are greedy and self centred. Uyu mwaice Chilufya is untested and still yet to have experience. Aba ba GBM nabo is what I can term as “WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET”. Smart Lubinda ena thinks being knowledgeable and presentable goes with good leadership… NO! Come January 20 people of Zambia will have spoken. I have seen some people who take a bit of drink to be more wise than the sober dull-heads.

Edgar do not contest in PF as the Bembas will lynch you!
Allow RB to swallow the East vote plus other MMD strongholds.
Bembas will vote for PF but will be checked by HH in Southern, Western and North Western and some rural parts of Lusaka.
RB is strong in Western, North West and Copperbelt rural.
RB, president of all Zambians!
But RB; who will pay for Thandiwe’s cancer treatment in RSA if you get back to active politics and GRZ stops the payments?

Thanks PF ,You are sobering up now. Please make quick decision on your candidate. Choice of your candidate will determine the direction of the Political landscape. This is why it is very important that PF chooses without prejudicing any one but go for popular candidate to favorably compete now with HH since MMD appear to be disturbing its followers. If I were PF I would go for Edgar. But let all contenders be floated for choice of the PF electoral college. Let GUY SCOTT preside over this affair with sense of care and reason.
