UPDATE: CHishimba Kambwili , Bob Sichinga File In Nominations

Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili today filed in presidential nomination

And Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Bob Sichinga has joined the race for the PF presidency.

Mr Sichinga has however regretted the infighting that has rocked the ruling party even before tears for the loss of President Michael Sata could dry.

Mr. Sichinga says Zambians will not support the PF for being violent.

He says any presidential candidate in this competitive campaign should first recognize the concerns of the young people because they need to be empowered.

Mr Sichinga says this will help the majority young people to become productive and earn a living.

Speaking during a media briefing this morning when he announced his candidature for the PF presidency,Mr Sichinga further stressed the need to sort out the constitution making issue, resolve the Barotseland agreement and complete the infrastructure development embarked on by President Sata among other things.

What the best way to go!! Allowing such competition is healthy in a democratic environment. May the best candidate win. God Bless Zambia.

There is nothing wrong to have many people contesting for the PF presidential election but what matters is democracy being practiced?is the PF constitution being followed?.And the most important thing is how the aspiring candidature will support whoever will come our victories? This is how we shall see who is mature? So am glad PF has decided to follow democratic norms than all those opposition parties who have decided to adopt their presidential candidates intend of subjecting them to inter-party democracy Go PF,you have show that in PF there is no shortage of leaders and those leaders are willing to competite

@Humphrey, I remember in one of your recent postings…I think when Sata just died, you said and I quote “You (meaning Sata) were very good to me personally…”. This kinda surprised me. Then I realised you must be some relative or something to Sata. So my dear your comments are bound to be bias. How can we have six people from the same family contesting for presidency? That includes the widow. Mind you this less than one month from the death of her husband. Just sit down and analyse this situation and if you are honest with yourself, you will realise that what these people are doing is wrong and must be condemned very highly.

So ba Kili Kaseba Sata has completed her much acclaimed mourning (by one polygamist Kaingu who seems to have a “mournermeter’)? She thinks because she is a clever doctor she can do anything…..ifi fintu bupe bwakwa lesa, mama you can’t do everything just because you can perform a C section successfully… ibwelenimo you have enough money left by your late husband!

Politics of discrimination is what we are trying to stop, widow or not give people a chance to exercise the citizenry rights.
PF has a number of people who wants the Top Post it is democracy.and democracy should be exercised.
Africa we are coming form Kingdoms one rule one authority that is why we allowed kk for 27 years.let exercise democracy will shall be a better Zambia and your vote will count not your opinion every one has there own.
    vote and vote wisely.
