Wina Says She Is A Peacemaker ‘I didnt realize that being a peace maker is a crime’
Suspended Patriotic Front National Chairperson Inonge Wina says she did not realize that being a peace maker is a crime.
Acting President Guy Scott today suspended sixteen members of the PF Central Committee for defying his orders not to hold the meeting today in Lusaka.
But Ms. Wina has told QFM News in a telephone interview that though she has not received any suspension letter from the Acting President, she has no further comment regarding the issue.
And Northern Province Minister Freedom Sikazwe says Dr. Scott has no powers whatsoever to suspend anyone from the party saying he is just acting as President.
Mr. Sikazwe has told QFM News in a separate phone interview that the decision taken by Dr. Scott will bring more confusion in the ruling party.
He argues that Dr. Scott has no powers to discipline anyone.
He says Dr. Scott’s team thought the Central Committee is afraid to go to the general conference, but that now they have hinted that they will be going to the convention that is why Dr. Scott is acting in such a manner.
The members of the Central Committee that Dr. Scott has suspended include; PF Chairperson Inonge Wina, Home Affairs Deputy Minister Steven Kampyongo, Information and Broadcasting Services Minister Dr. Joseph Katema, Tourism and Arts Minister Jean Kapata, Northern Province Minister Freedom Sikazwe, Copperbelt Minister Mwenya Musenge.
Others include; Benson Chali, Rasford Mwale, Fabian Chiposo, John Chipanga, Malozo Shichone, Willy Nsanda, James Kapyanga, Obvious Chisala, and Lazarous Chisanga.

I thought so too! Mama Inonge has been very exemplary in all these deliberations!! She was even at hand to offer Dr Scot guidance when he rushed to suspend EL just within 2 hours of being conferred with the acting presidency.

As party president according to your constitution, Scott has all the powers to suspend all foolish people in the party. It is only Government Officials that he has no power to do likewise. Ignorant FREE DOOM SIKAZWE, Kapata Explosive and the group you are just useless pretenders who never objected to Sata’s suspensions of people like Hapuunda and others as Party President and today you claim Scott is doing everything wrong when he is just following your own constitution.
You should be ashamed of making your assumptions based on racism.

I agree with mama inonge she has been the peace maker between the two camps. I just can’t understand why Scott is try to destroy the part becoz of the cartel. Lungu if God has said yes who can be against you.

Inonge Wina has very much disppointed me. She has caused so much damage to the party by working the like of Lungu. Wina knows well that the best avenue to select the candidate is the general conference.
Really, for the time being Lungu can beat HH even in dream, and mama Inonge (my mother in law knows that very well).
What PF should that now is to go to GC and choose a candidate.
If there is someone who can give headache to HH, it is either Dr Christine Kaseba or Miles Sampa.

Mrs Inonge Wina should have known there are consequences in chairing illegal meetings. She deserves the suspension together with the other lot for bringing unnecessary squabbles.

Inonge Wina is just one mental disarrogates, who still thinks that her name WINA is enough to keep expressing her superiority complex by not adhering to the constitution. While that element called Kapata has Always that arrogance and complex such that she even looks down at her own family or uncles who happen to be poor. How can such a person function in serving the interests of all Zambians. When she even fail to care for elderly ones in her own family. It is their hunger for positions and power that such people see Guy Scott as an enermy.Where in this world? Did you see a bunch of political criminals suspending the actng President without even following impeachment procedures.

I THINK BWANA SCOTT IS NOT OK UPSTAIRS. INFACT THE PURPOTED SUSPENSIONS ARE NOT VALID, JUST A SHAM! ONLY IN CONSULTATION WITH THE CENTRAL COMMITTE CAN SCOTT SUSPEND THE SIXTEEN. BA PF IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL YOU MIGHT JUST LOSE YOUR POSITION AS THE RULING PARTY- PULL UP YOUR SOCKS NOW! IMAGINE HAVING HH aka Hakaivotela Humwine, Bantustan for Life,…. for president. Zambians are not for sell. In short, ever since this country was born, we have never seen such confusion in a ruling party like we are witnessing today… this might just be the end of PF, unless these guys quickly do something about it. Imagine even a Grade 2 today knows that these guys are divide- Cartel i.e scott, Atanga, Musa Mwenye, Kasolo, Kaseba,Mmembe(POST), Mutembo-DPP, Kabimba(former SG),Masebo and on the other side we have the LUNGU or PATRIOTIC/ZAMBIAN group. Let us all learn a lesson from what is going on in the PF… it is better to build a party on strong principles and not around personalities, it is better to put our houses in order for ease of continuation…PF are real orphans without direction, shame on you BUT we still believe in you… PF YOU CAN LIVE AGAIN!

This is very disappointing from these guys. How did they even think of suspending the acting president. These are the consequences for the so called useless minister who cant even understand their constitution. Guy is following the constitution which gives him mandate to discipline any stubborn member of the party.

PF is sinking primarily because it has never respected the rule of law. Starting from the top, there was shameless disregard for the law. Now the PF is getting it all twisted about what powers Guy Scott has as acting President. The blunt point is that as acting president of PF, Guy Scott HAS the power to dicipline party members who do not toe the line. It is purely an internal matter within PF. With regard to his pbosition as acting REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT, that is different. So far, Guy Scott has acted within the law and that ishould be good enough for any sane Zambian.
